    Those wax free rings look interesting. I always had to use the old wax. Remember once in my mother in laws basement her toilet would leak and move etc. I took the toilet off and it had three wax rings on it!!!! I had to break concrete around pipe and extend it and redo it correctly. YOU DID A NICE JOB👍😊

      The wax seals definitely work fine (provided you don’t have three lol), but I have pretty good luck with these wax-free seals so far. Thanks for watching!!

    Your diy projects look very clean and professional. How do you deal with permits for your diy improvements? My city would stop me from any work done without a permit.

    I really enjoyed watching so much I Had trouble keeping up with all the text at the bottom. Would you consider do a voice over next time? I like to read and can read, but watching the work getting done is so satisfying that I forget to keep reading. Thanks.

      I hear you! I like to add the addition context via text but I also considered a VoiceOver. However, I do have detailed videos for every project shown in case people really want to "dive deep" on a specific project. Thanks for watching!

      Hi! I actually had interior drain tiles and a sump pump put in before I did anything to my basement. Check out that or an exterior French drain. Thanks for watching and good luck!

    Only thing is i would have staggered the floor by shower and toilet to create a more unique look.

    Curios does something like that not compromise the strength of the foundation?

    • @AndrewThronImprovements

      I would have preferred the cuts to be a BIT further away form the Lally column, but it shouldn't be an issue. The majority of the structural load is around the perimeter foundation wall. Thanks for watching!

    Love the mirror. Always so talented, but 8:02 never a fan of a toilet in the same room as the shower, especially so close to the shower. Why a shower curtain that will get moldy and be covered by bacteria from the toilet? Shower has a mixer, but separate faucets in the wash basin - mismatched. A flexible shower head would make cleaning of the shower easier.

    I watched a few of your videos. I think you should do voice over. It's almost impossible to read the text at the bottom and watch your fast forwarded footage at the same time. By the time I finish reading the line of text your on to the next thing

      Missing staples on the electrical, no insulation on the ductwork, etc. some are not your fault but I wouldn’t just cover them up. All in all it’s okay work.

    • @limpfinger12
      @limpfinger12 3 месяца назад

      I don't think staples are required right? If you were running new electrical through existing walls you wouldn't staple them. And are you saying he should've insulted the exhaust duct?

    • @AaronPowellvox
      @AaronPowellvox 3 месяца назад

      @@limpfinger12 There are several instances that I saw in this video that require staples that he didn’t staple. For instance, the 12-2 wire running from one box to another should have been stapled to each wall before going into the box. I don’t know what exhaust ducts you are referring to but I’m referring to the air conditioning duct work.

    • @raymonddavey9748
      @raymonddavey9748 3 месяца назад +10

      Just an FYI the ductwork is in a condition space and therefore does not need to be insulated. Feel free to get off your butt and do some work and post it online so we could ridicule you please😢
