Thanks! I love it so far, I'm still making some small tweaks as to exactly how i want it adjusted. By fall i should have everything down for sure, and if anything changes on it or I find out something worth telling everyone about with it I will make a follow up video
Just got mine in the mail yesterday for my Helium ultralight. I ended up buying straps for my helium sticks from xop as well cuz their straps are pathetic. Great idea but made way too cheap. I was at my local shop and saw that XOP vanish today, so I just grabbed it. Now I got two complete mobile setups. Helium 3 pack and 4pack sticks. I’ve already been using the ultralight and I like it for the really tight places I been going. The XOP is going out with me in the morning and I can already tell I’m gonna be using this one a lot.
Shortly after this video I hurt my back. I switched to a saddle set up just to save more on weight on my shoulders and back. I like both saddle and stand sets equally. Both have major advantages and disadvantages
I just bought the TTS for my hawk stand. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be a game changer. New public ground will be covered this year in TN because of this!
Thanks for the info I was thinking about customizing an ALICE Pack for my Summit to carry it into public land but hell the XOP harness is the bomb. Also I never thought of the hockey tape... Thanks for sharing!!!
Just installed the TTS on my XOP vanish. Love it so far as it does take weight of my shoulders, but im curious as to how it affects hanging the stand...seems like alot of material hanging from the bottom that might make it more challenging...
I have hung mine a few times now in my yard for some elevated target practice. I haven't noticed any ill effects form the TTS as far as set up. Its a dream going up the tree with it on one shoulder compared to the shoulder straps I had previously been using.
Hey man - great video. I currently have a LW Alpha and use the factory straps with it. One of the things that I hate with it is that the stand always feels like it's sitting too low and it'll hit the back of my legs. As a result, it makes me walk slightly hunched over. Can this be adjusted so the stand sits much higher? Thanks.
You can tighten it up pretty well, all depending on your actual frame. I'm a smaller guy 5-9 and I think it carries nicely to where I dont feel its hitting my calves. That could also be adjusted better if you flip the stand from seat up to seat down depending on how it rides on your back
Just leave it on. Bottom of the stand yes has stuff on it but that also helps imho to break up a normal silhouette. It doesn't really sway in the wind bad, and I have never thought about needing more room under the stand lol
@@whitetailundergroundproduc483 Thanks. Trying to figure out what to get for backpack straps. Like that version tho. It has the back pad. Thanks again.
Great video! I’ve been on the fence weather to buy this or not. I’m not crazy about the 3lbs compared to the Molle system that is 1.5-2lbs. Is there any type of webbing or strap along the hip belt? My idea was to buy a Molle pouch to place the straps/ ropes when climbing/walking for easy access?
Home Town Hunting Outdoors I wouldn't say there is any webbing you could add a pouch to, there is however a couple loops (they look like elastic, but I will have to verify that. I hadn'treally paid attention to them) you could tie into along the hip belt on the sides. I don't notice the 3lbs since the weight is distributed well across my body. If your current setup is 2lbs, it's only 1 extra pound
I have the seat bolt tight so it does not move when I flip it up while Im on stand. And with my sticks being strapped down the seat during transport it is unable to move as well.
cmack003 sorry, when I purchased the system the packaging said they were available. I guess I never checked back to see if they had them. Hope they answer your email soon.
That transport attachment looks amazing...I have never seen one of those before but man would that make such a difference! Great video!

Not a bad price for it too!

I hope you like it as much as I do!

You bet, I really like the xop system.
Have one on my XoP Air Raid and love it. Getting extra buckles for my Summit Viper SD.

How has your tape job held up?
Great video, thank you for sharing. How much does the XOP TTS weigh?
Im not 100% a pound or 2, definitely makes the stand feel like you are carrying less wieght through the woods though
So do you unhook all of that from stand at base of tree before hanging stand? Just seems like a lot of stuff connected to bottom of stand.

How do you keep the stick stacked once layering with tape? I use the transport shoulder strap and find those sticks very cumbersome.

does the seat fall down when walking?

Great mods I'm a big gear junkie
Where did you find the extra buckles for the transport system. Thanks
cmack003 should be on the xop website.
Whitetail Underground Productions I looked it isn’t. I emailed them waiting on that.
Thanks

How did you get the tape odor to go away? I taped mine with the same stuff and it has an odor.
It should go away after a few days
