That means: complete the final mission at least twice, defeat Lingering Will, and Datas, complete the Glossary, and 100% the Gummi Ship missions. All of which, the game never tells you to do!

The 3rd mission for each requires you to collect 10 hidden Gummi enemy drops that can not only be missed, but also you can fail to appear if you don't get enough points or kill a prior enemy/enemies. So here's a tip for the egg mini game. You need to gently pull the sticks apart and that's the easy part. The harder part has to do with our own biology, when clicking the r1 and L1 you have to be cognizant to not let the finger sticks move backwards, that's hard to do because when clicking them they naturally want to do so. So my best advice is a gentle tap of the r1 and L1 to make it a bit more consistent

The best way to get mystery goo is from the black mushrooms. You have to defeat them with a critical hit to have a chance at them dropping it, so equip abilities and a keyblade that increase your critical hit chance, also equip combo master and hurricane blast. Go to the bazaar in Agrabah and summon bambi when the mushrooms appear (so that donald and goofy dont screw it up and steal your kill) and then do aerial combos above the mushrooms, making sure that your finishing move is the one that hits them. Worked like a charm for me.

I restarted playing KH1.5 a few weeks ago, and yes the one thing I don’t like about Final Mix is the Stone items, especially the one you have to get from the Sniperwild. I get PTSD whenever I enter the Second District.
Also, I got a Wizard’s Staff in my first fight with Wizards in Hollow Bastion, so of course I wanted to get the Defender shield to match….and after I defeated over 450 Defenders, I finally got one.

    Few things I wanna mention
First the egg mini game, if you position your thumbs on the controller in between the 2 sticks and slowly push them into the sticks you can do the egg mini game without breaking it and get excellent pretty much every time once you have the muscle memory of it. Once I tried that I don't think I've ever busted an egg.
Second, as someone who's completed chain of memories 3 or 4 times, it REALLY doesn't take as long as you say. I think the longest I ever spent on enemy cards was like 15 hours? And thay could have been cut down a couple hours if I had realised the dark ball doesn't have a card. So if anyone needs it here's a couple tips on that
First you don't need a spreadsheet, jusy look up enemy spawns and tackle worlds based on enemy diversity, the card is always based off the last enemy you killed in a encounter. So make a deck with 2 or 3 warps and then the rest is whatever you normally kill stuff with. You go into a battle and just use warp on the first wave of 2 and then kill anything that isn't what you want normally and use a warp on the remaining enemies. It won't drop xp but that's not a big deal tbh. Warp kills everything in a wave at the same time without xp so you just use it on enemies at the end to get rid of them faster. Say you need a power wild and a white knight and there's an encounter that has both you can just spam warp and if there is a card drop then you'll have a 50/50 chance to get either one.
Let's say you get one of the 2 cards then just keep doing the encounters with those guys and just make sure you save the one you don't have the card for for last and warp them to make it faster. Idk if I'm explaining it in an easy to understand way cuz I'm not very good at explaining things like that through text but once you get it down you can get a new card every 10 to 20 minutes. Just make sure you look up what enemies don't have cards so you don't make my mistake of spending 2 or 3 hours trying to get a dark ball card thay doesn't exist. The only info you really need is what worlds spawn what, I don't believe worlds affect drop rate, only room cards (iirc the one that spawn only shadows has a higher chance of gaining enemy cards, which would just be shadow cards)
Oh also if you save up room cards til you hit the cap it will make it easier to tell when you get an enemy card since it's the only thing thay can drop. I have 0 clue of it affects drop rate but it feels like it does.

One weapon that I'll always remember the grind for was in Final Fantasy XII and it was the Tournesol Great Sword. I spent two months grinding the materials and combining them together to craft just one of them. Needless to say, I settled for Ultima Blade and Excalibur as the other two weapons for my party members. It was ridiculous, like you had to take 9 of the rarest materials in the game, combine them into 3 even rarer items, then do that 3 more times, before combining the even rarer items into even RARER items. Do that 3 more times, and you can combine the results to get your sword. It sounds simple but my God, just getting the materials for the first step of the recipe took a week, then you had to do it almost 9 more times to get what you needed. They made it a lot easier to craft in the remake, along with the fast forward function they added to make grinding less tedious at least.

The Pink Agaricus has a very special annoyance as the time to defeat it is determined by your MP stat, and MP cannot be raised in KH1 FM, so for best odds one should pick up the wand in the beginning, and synthesize Power Up and Defense Up items to offset.

The worst part about End of Pain is that the UI display of the portals for each character *SWITCH* when you beat the game the first time. At least on 3DS. What I mean by that is, Sora gets information on what portals Riku has up and vice versa. If you aren't aware that's what's happening, you have an even harder time trying to get things done unless you just so happen to fight the final bosses one more time.

I think one worth mentioning is that damn royal crown key blade from bbs. It’s not the hardest thing to get, but the fact it involves beating no heart, which involves beating armor of eraquis, which involves doing pretty much the entirety of the mirage arena PLUS grinding the commands and levels to make that shit plausible in the first place means you’re probably gonna dedicate a whole day, maybe a week to getting it. The one from young xehanort is harder but the royal crown is just a tedious time sink.

I just beat Mushroom 8 today! The best way I’ve found to beat him is to equip Berserk, and use Cure right before starting the challenge (Make sure to unequip any MP Haste you have to prolong Berserk), then just keep alternating between regular attacks and horizontal slashes. Then when your MP is about to be restored, go into Master Form and spam Thunder until you MP is gone again, then keep attacking until you reach the high score. It took me a few tries, but it was the easiest way for me.

I don’t really have a hard time with Mystery Goo. Mainly because I’m quite good at juggling Rare Truffles (the Blue and Yellow Mushroom Heartless) in Halloween Town. I push it toward the corner near the stairs, and keep juggling them. When I get to 50, I move Sora a bit and hit it again to make sure I don’t drop the combo. Mainly because the items like Megalixirs, can ruin my juggle. So I know a quite good pattern to juggle them.

Quickest method I know of if you're not good at the Rare Truffles like me.

The worst one for me it's Crown Unlimit in BBS-Critical Mode. You have to be atleast lv. 40+ for battles, you need to spam the dodge button, you need to complete all arena matches, you need to complete all 4 race circuits, you need to win (not just play) 7 command boards, you need to get 9,999 medals and then you need to defeat both masters armors (luckly not at the same time). All of this for ONE character so you have to this this 2 MORE TIMES for the other 2 characters (and all of this is needed for the Platinum trophy)

    •  Год назад +1

Oh, I remember the pain when I tried to get the platinum. I'm so glad I finished that, it took me many months, especially Mysterious Figure. But I'd rather fight MF than doing all the freaking Command Boards. I believe there were 7 boards? With 3 characters that makes 21 board plays. And then you lose right at the end of the board many times...

There’s actually a cheese with neverland that i found out about by experience. If you fly and then just attack once before the rare truffle comes down, sora will move towards it and it will refresh the combo, allowing for a free 100 hit, although do be careful where you hit the rare truffle, if you go off the ship, the drops disappear if it touches the water. You can control this by moving slightly to the right to go in a circle instead of a line. Highly recommend a long keyblade for this.

    1:36 MAJOR CORRECTION
Actually, if you are fully seen, the Sniperwilds will suddenly no longer drop any items and will immediately call for help.
Thus, the Second District will be swarmed with them and they will all spam lock-on shots that just work like instant hitboxes that appear on your character(s) and can only be dodged with invul frames regardless of what you're hiding behind.
That alone forces you to immediately run away to reset the area before you havw a huge chance of dying. Sniperwilds don't run at all, my friend. Gravely mistaken.
Also, they're like with the HD ReMIX content, only in the Final Mix versions of KH1 (Combo Master ability from KH2FM is solely HD ReMIX KH1FM exclusive), so those playing on the OG PS2 versions likely have nothing to worry about with that extra grinding.
