I was 19 when this ep first aired & it is amazing how "iconic" the show is, the musical cues, the colors, the models, the games, so much so that it still retains the feels in 2021 as it did back in the day... ...and yes there will only ever be one Bob Barker, but I am glad the "baton" went to Drew Carey.
$700 for that microwave oven, holy crap. Place I'm renting was built in 1980 or 1981, original never remodeled kitchen with over the stove Kenmore microwave/light/vent hood that actually vents to the roof. Green digital display, push buttons like any new microwave, only thing it doesn't have is the rotating/spinny thing. You just gotta accept it takes like twice as long to heat crap up, you gotta turn that plate halfway thru nuking it. That damn microwave is older than me yet still works like a new unit.

This episode features the debut of “Super Ball”, the most popular one on the show, and it was inspired by a popular redemption game called “Skee-Ball” where you can find them in many arcade places like Dave & Busters, Chuck E Cheese’s and other venues. This game lasted for an amazing 17-year run until the game retired in 1998. I remember “Super Ball”, and I still missed it a lot. There was one incredible moment where one of the contestants did a phenomenal job of tossing all three balls in the “Win” hole right on the nose, except one Super Ball tosses into the “Win” and it was in perfect timing, and ended up with an epic win, and that was only once in the history of the game, and that was in 1988.
I wish there was someone who could compile a list of retired pricing games from premiere to last played,along with the ones that got a makeover and became part of the current games played.
I think this price is right is a reschedule, cause if you look closely at 45:31 on the screen the year aside JIL Industries is 1997. I could be wrong but I might be right :-)
at 58:23 they announce the citrus express for 19.95 plus 4.95 S&H I have find one on ebay for 9.95 but at 27,08 S&H it is almost the same price. But no 30 days money back :-)

There were electric cars way back to the early 20th century. I saw one at the Nethercutt museum in Saugus CA. There's also a steam power, but in California water would be more expensive than gasoline.

That "turntable" is really a gimmick. Totally unnecessary because "microwaves" (RF energy) are reflected in a random pattern inside the oven!
