    Thanks for the video! I just followed the steps and successfully changed the engine oil in my 2013 GLK350 and saved $$$. Why would anyone give a thumbs down to this instructional video? No English? O wait, must be a Benz dealer.

    Always, get on your dad nerves, because when you’re older. . . “My dad saved me thousands of dollars because I can change my own sh**” 😄

      I've never tried that method. I guess I'm old fashioned. But I'd assume you'd have to make sure you get near the 7.5qt mark when extracting.

      It's MITYVAC MV7201, look it up, I've learned that when it's near done you can hear it sucking air, I then put a half litre of new oil in the engine and when it repeats the process with the new oil coming out , it's done

    Why the manual and some internet information said 6.9 us quarts fluid? It making me confused 🤔

    • @nixcoolfix
      @nixcoolfix  2 года назад

      There's not much difference between 6.9 and 7.5. The oil filter will contain some residual. And you can offset between the "max" and "min" on the oil stick when you fill. There is no exact number.

    Also,
    I need to change the ATF Fluid on my 2013 Mercedes GLK350 sooner.
    Have you had a chance change the ATF Fluid on your 2013 Mercedes GLK350. Can you please make a video of the process.
    Thanks in advance.

      I don't typically change the ATF fluid until after 150k miles. ATF usually lasts 200k miles if your transmission is fine. I will film it when I get there!

      @@nixcoolfix Noel,
      I'm da 2nd Owner on my 2013 Mercedes GLK350. It's at little over 64,000 Miles & I'm sure it's time for da (ATF=Automatic Transmission Fluid) change.
      I read online that for those (Mercedes that has a Transmission 722.9) which 2010-2015 Mercedes GLK350 contains da Transmission 722.9, then it needs changing at 60,000 Miles.
      Unfortunately, Car Owner forgets to service their Automatic Transmission Fluid, then it's too late it ends up (costing them Parts/Labor Average $7,000.00).That's a lot of money.
