Great review.. Thanks! I just purchased one and this is an absolutely fantastic capo. Seriously shocked by the great intonation when using it. I've had Elliots, Shubbs, Original Paige etc, and all would require retune constantly. (on and then off) It took me about 5 minutes to get comfortable with the click mechanism, and have to say I'm really happy with it. Not very often something so simple can be greatly improved upon!
Hey Adam, you sold me. I'll let you know how it works for me. Staying in tune with a capo is a big problem. Sound/Tone is bigger. One thing I think I hear in your demo is that your guitar tone didn't change much when adding the capo. I play at church and have to be quiet between songs. I have been selecting songs and keys to avoid adding a capo. If this capo works, it'll be nice to get the exact key and voicings I want while staying in tune and getting a good sound.
Curious what your experience has been. I'm a hobbyist who just bought a guitar with a beautiful tone, but I play often with a capo, and the Capo affects the tone. How is the tone and sound with this ETI Capo? I'm already almost sold based on what people say about the tuning, but is the tone appreciably different than with other capos?
I hear a lot of microphone distortion
