    Thank you for revisiting this build series it was a long awaited favorite of mine!

    I just had Alex calibrate this exact setup on my S3 with very similar results, a bit less ethanol. The other thing to mention is the transient response is near stock like. All that torque is just a throttle stab away.

      Glad you enjoy it Jordie. I drove the R today and it was so much fun. That transient response you mention.

      How about a graph of 2867 with E50? Also could run more boost

    Great video !! Im currently is38 in my GTI FBO on full ethanol but no mpi . I just ordered this gt2260s last night . Would I need to install an mpi kit to maintain full use of the ethanol or am I ok with just the hpfp and the lpfp upgrade ? Thanks in advance

      Hi you can do either. To max it out completely I recommend MPI. We can tune either setup but MPI will give you an edge in the top end. www.stratifiedauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=332_259_261&products_id=726

    Are you guys able to tune both ecu and tcu on an unlocked 8y s3 gen 4? Have you guys tuned the new gt2563s powermax?

  • @amdisthebest

    Have you guys done any testing with the Pmax S2 for comparison? I know it’s significantly larger in spec but would love to hear first hand how they compare.

      It is much slower spooking as a tradeoff to the increase in top end flow and power.

    being in langley BC, where abouts do you guys source the E85?

    What lpfp are you using? Would the walbro 525 be a good choice?

    What about at 6000 ft elevation? Is this enough turbo to hit 380 whp uncorrected on 91 octane? On a dynojet

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  7 месяцев назад

      At that elevation you would be pushing it especially on 91. Throw some e85 and yes.

    I’m starting to like this turbo as an option for my MK7R . Have you guys tuned any with a hpfp only and with stock dp? I don’t think I could handle a check engine light with the new Cobb green speed limitation. Do you think this turbo and an IC would pick up 40 wheel on the top end, through the stock cat and on Lower Mainland Shell 93?

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  Год назад +1

      Yes have tuned this turbo on exactly that configuration and the power delta it picks up over the is38 remains given that the rest of the hardware is consistent between the 2. The combination you have mentioned is a very good one.

    Has the car been on the track yet? Was wondering what it was running in a quarter mile? I'm thinking of changing tunes to you guys but I also wanna add a upgraded cts intake manifold along with the mpi upgraded lpfp and hpfp to my custom tune.

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  Год назад

      Has not officially. With this turbo it’s a high 10s car on a good launch. All you need is the MPI and LPFP.

      Charge pipes make a fairly small difference.

    [For ea888 Gen3]

    • @stratifiedauto
      @stratifiedauto  10 месяцев назад

      Depends what you’re looking for. Not sure how the TTE performs but the pmax offers stock like spool and response and another 40-50whp potential over the is38.

      @@acogacogari4028 Gregor10 tested the TTE555 vs the Powermax 2. HP and Torque are basically the same but TTE spools a lot better (3500 vs 4000 rpm)
