yes ,i got stiff in the hips and lower back post ops, which made everything more uncomfortable and harder, like the walking, putting on shoes, and pants, stretching. these exercises help alot

I'm a year into my tkr on my left knee these exercises are the best thinking about the right knee now it's not bone on bone right now but I'm thinking about it 😊

My knee replacement in both the knee before 3 months now no pain related to surgery but heaviness and stiffness in both the knee and severe pain in calf and thai muscles since one month

Hi my name is Sarah I had a knee replacement on July 2 2024 and my insurance wouldn’t cover pt so I’ve been trying to do it on my own but it’s been hard then I came across your videos my question is how long do you do each exercise for?
Great Video..All your exercises today can be done at home verses going to the gym.. Question: At 20 months..and 13 months in the gym...I have the quad strenght and balance is fine...but My TKR leg ( left)is slightly smaller than my right. Could it be because my knee cap is smaller than my prothesis and my muscles and tendons are connected differently to my TKR?...If not what should I do?
Thanks! Definitely a possibility the knee is now smaller. But also a possibility the strength is different than the right leg. As long as you are doing a progressive exercise program, you are doing it right. Make it a little harder each week without causing any excessive pain and swelling.
So glad someone told me about these Just starting week 7 could not do last exercise on surgical leg but feeling increasing discomfort overall underneath and on one leg extension and lift leg ( quad work) got sharp pain too if knee cap is that normal ?
Thank you for these videos. Im 4 weeks out of TKR . I have complete knee extension and about 112 degrees flexion right now. Im walking with a cane and can actually walk a little without it. I have experienced my knee buckle a couple of times. Is this common? Is this due to weakness in the leg muscles post surgery? Thanks for your help.
U said that these are for "beginners" pre and post but how soon after surgery can I start these? Can I try first week? In Ontario Canada I won't see a PT for initial assessment until at least 7 days post op, so worried about what to do at home before that. Thx so much for ALL your videos! Very valuable! Also wish your courses had a little lower price due to Canadian dollar exchange.

Yes! That’s a hard one on the quads and also the knee rotation is usually stiff.
