For your information, young man, nothing dated after 1950 is old. I take offense to that! I turn 74 tomorrow and I'm definitely not old!! Classic yes, but not old!
As Si says nothing wrong with being old, it’s a privilege denied to quite a few. And for the record I’m 58 still think I’m 21 in my mind it’s the rest of my body sending me messages to remind me of the fact I’m not LOL

With all the raw sewage in the water around London, I’m amazed that 1) you would pick up things with your bare hands, and 2) that you would put anything near your mouth!
First time watching one of your videos, very interesting. I live in America. I did visit London several years ago to see my Niece, seeing the familiar landscape around where you were mudlarking brought back fond memories of my visit. I love the owl you made from all your findings, very cleaver!! Keep up the good work!!
What a fun mudventure! The ducklings, fox kits and of course Nelly and Daisy were lovely to see. They are all adorable. I think the aloof attitude of most cats are so funny until they are hungry or wanting a belly rub. They surely are independent souls. The owl is wonderful. She/ he is so majestic looking I think it needs a regal name like Lady Clockscoin or Sir Clocks de Coin. Anyway, great upscale. Sean and you always seem to have a good time. Can't wait until the next mudventure and more luck in the muck.

Your upSIcles just keep getting better 👍 It's going to be hard to top the owl. The object at 31:50 looks like an inflation needle for a ball. The threaded end was probably aluminum and mostly corroded away, but the needle part would be stainless or plated brass. You can see the top air hole at 31:52 and also in the threaded end shortly after.
Like the overlappjng coins and pipe on your Mudlarker owl 🦉✨️, a neat effect. Do like the cats too - they look like they like it when Mr Si does his upcycles

Hi i just watched, what an excellent video,... I loved what youve done with all the old metal finds, amazing!! Love the owl and all of the different colours of the coins together 😊😊well done si
So many amazing things in this video! Finds: the flint from 50 to 200 thousand years ago (!!!), the mystery pipe, all those coins, and the bell (I don't know why, but I truly love that one). The animals: ducklings, our friends Nelly and Daisy, fox mom and cubs, and a hedgehog (I actually found one in a park here in the middle of the USA; long story). SEAN! And that owl. I think you've really topped yourself there. The beak and eyebrows lead me to think it needs a fierce name, like Hilda ('warrior') or Gertrude ('adored warrior'). Thanks for brightening my rainy Sunday morning here in Wisconsin, Si!
