Awesome video Cheyne! Love seeing these gorgeous rolex watches being used for your job out in the field, not to mention in absolutely stunningly beautiful locations.
Great video Cheyne as usual, The scenery and watches are fantastic, good to see these watches out on location and being worn like all watches should be Watches are to be used and enjoyed
Thank you so much for the kind words! I couldn’t agree more-watches are meant to be worn, enjoyed, and put to the test, especially in environments like these. Whether it’s capturing stunning landscapes or embarking on adventures, they’re tools designed to accompany us and create memories. Glad you enjoyed the combination of scenery and timepieces! Stay tuned for more adventures. 😊 Cheers
Thanks for that. We share those passions, there is something about being out in Nature and its extortionary beauty, as well as having a dependable well crafted timepiece on your wrist. Cheers
@@nytnapoli8327 Thank you. Indeed an amazing camera. I’ll have a video coming out on Saturday that will put more emphasis on the Phase One camera, if you’re interested. Cheers
God, if Rolex, ever gets around to putting the brushed, super adjustable, three link bracelet on the GMT… They would have a winner for all time. Maybe they don't do that for a reason? I have a GMTBLNR from 2013 and have even given some thought to simply having the bracelet brushed to get rid of the shiny PCL's. But something stops me every time when I think about the value of the watch integrity etc.
Totally feel your dilemma! A brushed Oyster bracelet with the super adjustable clasp on the GMT would be a game-changer. Maybe Rolex keeps the polished center links (PCLs) for that extra touch of elegance. If you're considering brushing yours, it’s definitely a custom move that can make the watch feel more rugged and tool-like-but I get hesitating when it comes to preserving its originality and value. Either way, your 2013 BLNR is a timeless beauty!
6:52 Have you ever heard of a line of watches called "G-Shock"? I can guarantee you they can handle 7 or 8 degrees even better than these Rolex watches. I can also guarantee you that they will outperform any one of those three Rolexes as it pertains to robustness, being tough, and extreme conditions.
I do know, very well of G-Shock. Great watches, but they keep failing on me when I was camping in sub-zero temp (I talk about more in other videos). Since I wear my watches on the outside of my jacket the G-shocks (on 3 different occasions, 3 different G-Shocks) the batteries went flat with the long term exposure to the cold. One of the big reasons I moved to Rolex watches.
@ 1.4 is still really good. It’s funny with my Submariner it’s pretty much day accurate if I’m wearing it nonstop for 24 / 7 or if I wear it 12 hours on 12 off.
and Wow, amazing photographs both at Zion and the Grand Canyon. Love that shot at Desert View! Cheers
Thanks for that Ian. Check them out on out on our website to see them bigger and with more detail. Cheers

Thank you for these wonderful videos. Nature and mechanical watches, two of my passions.

@cheynewalls sounds great. I'll be back for the next phase one video.
What an eye you have, sir. Spectacular shots, phenomenal watches. 😎👍
Cheers, Thank you for that! Love being out on the road.
Is the Rolex explorer 40 case cutting into the Artem straps at all?
I haven't really noticed anything, maybe just the smallest amount. Cheers
@ brilliant, I’m thinking of getting one for my explorer - would you recommend?
@@Fionn_01 Yes, all great straps, but my favorite is the HydroFlex from Artem. Cheers
i hope you don't lose the sight of the sub in the pile of fallen leafs.....😅
haha, Nope still got it.
You have great taste, bet your wife is a super model 😂
I'm very lucky, she is an amazing person!

Mine is about 1.4 seconds fast a day on average.
How long is it on your wrist a day?
16 or so hours a day.

My Explorer 40 is even better but then again it has less complications. I am still undecided as to which of the two watches I prefer 🤔
Rolex GMT?
You'll have to be patient on that one. Will have videos on it next year. Cheers
@cheynewalls great ❤️
