Marion- Thank you so much for these recipes. When I moved to the West Coast of the USA, I couldn't find any Asian restaurants that cooked ribs the way I was used to, from the East Coast. All of the recipes you listed fit the bill. I'm so excited to make them. Thank you again.
All look delicious! In the US, it is sort of blasphemy if you mention any way of cooking ribs besides on a smoker/BBQ method but one of my favorite ways of doing ribs is by simmering them in a pot until soft then I cool them down and marinate for 24 hours, then I grill them for the color , come out fantastic
Wow, mouth watering. I have to make it. Marion, you are one of the best Chefs in the world. I learnt from you a lot. Thank you sooo much. Btw, I tried today a soft-boiled egg homemade mayo. It needs perfection though. If anyone makes their own and would like to share the recipe, please do it. Thanks !
Hi Marion, the ribs look delicious. After you took the ribs out of the oven to transfer to a clean sheet of foil [then glazed to bake for 20 mins], you hadn't said how long you did the initial cook for in the foil pocket?
Recipe #2 cleaned out the gunk from the ribs, as it should be. It makes you wonder about recipe #1, though. All the gunk remains since it wasn't simmered.
I really don’t have this kind of time, nor do I want to go through that much foil! Aren’t we supposed to be cutting back on use of non- renewables? Use an Instant Pot to make your life so much easier. Remove silver skin, dry rub. Next day coil two racks of ribs in your pot. Use a trivet and a cup of water. Pressure cook for 20 min. Remove, sauce, and finish with BBQ or broiler. Couldn’t be simpler. No foil required. Also the drippings in your pot can be reduced and used in sauce.
We are not that lazy. Go find the lazy food channel. We don't want instant pots. The air and cell phone will kll you anyway, so don't worry about the foil.

Another great recipe.
Noosa and The Sunshine Coast are the best places on Earth.
No doubt some of the best Asian barbecue ribs! I’d been making them for long time, best and easiest recipes.

I wondered the same thing.

How long do you put the marinated pork ribs in the Oven for and what heat.
Can we use beef ribs?

How do you get rid of that Pig taste. I did bbq ribs the other day and after cooking them I found the taste still had that pig taste.
Probably cause it is pig!
Get beef instead of pig ribs🙄

Jesus, you must be fun at parties - not everyone can afford an Instant Pot
