When I was a kid, I used to think Dr. Cox was an asshole. Rewatched it after about 8-9 years, and he was the most relatable person in the show
The realization that I'm older than JD now hit me hard today on a rewatch with my partner. Definitely understand what you mean about Cox
I'd argue that this applies even more to Dr. Kelso.
Being young is hating on Kelso, growing up is understanding why he had to be the guy that everybody hates.
Agreed. Once life has hit just a little he becomes understandable and even almost justifiable.

I know how connected this song is with the show Scrubs, but I can’t help think this song is so much more than that. Like, it talks about everyday life and the realization that everyone needs help. It’s such a powerful song with a simple point of view of someone’s daily reality. Each day can be happy, fulfilling, and meaningful if we notice the small and large beauties of each one, just like the narrator in this song is noticing.
This may sound touchy-feely, but I like to spread my ideas of joy in each life, every day. Even though life can be hard, and even harder for others, we should take into consideration that life is a gift, and experiencing every day is a blessing. God bless you all.

I went looking for this song just because I was looking for songs with references to Superman. I didn't expect such a powerful message of love and togetherness. ❤

I actually teared-up watching/listening to this.
That show connects me to a very important time in my life, and this theme tune brings it all up to the surface.
Now excuse me while I watch this on repeat half a dozen more times.
Same man, reminds me of being young with my brother and having a good time watching scrubs together.
We're both grown now with families, but man what I'd give to just be a kid and hanging out with my brother.

I saw this video as an advert on the youtube home page.
Literally the first time I've deliberately clicked an advert in nearly 2 decades of internet use.
I binged scrubs twice recently. Once while on pregnancy bedrest and once after birth healing up. As a result this is my baby's favorite song and is often the only thing to calm him down. Id say we've played this song at least 1000 times since he was born. As soon as he hears "1,2,3" his attention is diverted for 3:45 😂
