I have seen a few small part enclosed form factor printers but this is by far the best one, you can see they have worked hard to get this printing as well as it does without a heated bed, and I wish them every success!
This was the most informative video I’ve seen on this printer. I ordered this printer yesterday for my son. We have no idea how to use a 3d printer but I feel more confident after watching this. Thanks for sharing 🙂
What’s your update on it after a year? Thinking about getting my son this for Christmas he’s (9)
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for this awesome review! I wanted 3D printer for a while, and this is perfect for me! Can't wait to buy it!
Did you buy it already?
Perfect before I buy for my kiddo.... Thanks
Had a DIY Anet A8 and then an Ender 3 Pro for 4 years. I think I will give this one a try as I don't print very big and I like that it is so portable and you don't need to build your own enclosure around it
It's possible to send files to this printer via wifi from your desktop pc, but only by using the wiibuilder software, unfortunately. If you get the "upload failure" message when trying, use another sd card and try again, this will probably fix it
oh man, this will fuel a D&D minis addiction
i have one of these and its one of the easiest printers ive ever used! a much better option than the ender 3
Are you able to draw your own things on the app? Or just the stuff it comes with ?
thank you so much
How long did it take to print that small boat? Estimate?
Depending on your settings, it should take between 90 and 150 minutes
I’m confused… What’s the difference between the Entina, Weedo, Weefun, etc? They all look the same.
Essentially they are all the same. Just different branding and a couple features here and there.
@@SouthpawWorkshop Thanks! (Didn’t know…). New to 3D printing;-)!.
nice, thank you for the video i gonna buy a weedo tina 2s then i can print my toys haha:)
Which is a good 3D printer for DIY and cosplay?
How does it compare to the toybox printer?
I would say performance-wise it is the same. The toybox one is a core xy so the bed moves up and down instead of back and forth like this one. The main selling point t of the toybox is its ease of use. No slicer needed. Pick your toy from the app, customize it how you want, then press print and it sends the pre-sliced file directly to the printer. It is a really smart idea. You can also slice your own files to print with the printer so you aren’t limited to their 3D model selection.
After using this a bit more have you found that the enclosed nature of the machine is bad?
No. It’s a great little printer. The enclosed nature doesn’t interfere with performance. If anything, it makes it easy to transport.
You actually typically want to enclose your printer as much as possible. It’s nice when you find a decent priced printer that’s ready to go. People spend hundreds-thousands to enclose their printer of choice
Does this require software other than what comes with the machine to import ready to print files? I’m new to 3D printing but have watched a lot of videos.
Most, if not all 3D files will need some sort of conversion in order to be printed by your machine. I’m sure there is software included with the printer, but your best bet is to download and learn how to use Cura. It is very user friendly and compatible with most printers in the market.
Can you download digital files to print?
Yes, it works just like any other 3D printer
whats the size of the printing bed?
Hi does this printer work with TPU
It can, but direct drive is better than Bowden feed for printing TPU
What is the max print temperature on this printer? The website says it prints TPU, which is around 250 on a high end and 230 on the low end
Yeah the Bowden tube-fed system such at this one has a technical upper limit of 250, because that is the thermal breakdown limit of the PTFE tubing, but it won’t last long if you print a lot at that temperature. There are other TPU formulations out there that print well at lower temperatures on Bowden systems. Look at the specs. I always buy TPU rated for 210-220 hotend temp.
They haven’t reach the goal yet 🥲
