Paulina, the drummer only sings lead on a handful of their songs. The primary lead singer is Daniela, the guitar player. The Youngest sister Ale plays the bass. The guy was their manager Rudy. He plays the part of "The Preacher". This is the opening track to their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene. It is a concept album that tells a story and plays like a musical graphic novel. This from their debut of the album in Mexico City. At the time in November of 2018, they were 18,16 and 13 years old!
The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!.The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10 000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise fund for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lock down was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50000 simultaneous viewers on March 25 2020. They have since performed from The Warning a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville Tx for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After 3 months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February 2021. All that remains as of 22 02 21 is the album design and artwork amd logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by April 2021. So now you've been WARNED! I know you like horror and this album is a horror story. It’s called Queen of the Murder Scene and tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. This song is the intro and is actually a funeral. “Uncle Bob” is the manager and plays the part of the preacher (in Spanish, since they are Mexican). Next would be Crimson Queen, which introduces the girl.
Rudy Joffroy is his name. Their father is co-manager. This was from the concert at Lunario, the national performing arts center in Mexico City (CDMX, which you'll also see in references, is "Ciudad de Mexico", or "City of Mexico", analogous to Washington, DC in the US). This particular concert is where they first presented the album. It's written as an introduction (this song) followed by four chapters of three songs each depicting different stages in the young woman's descent into madness and ultimate suicide. In the concert they played older songs between the chapters and ended the song with Survive, a real crowd pleaser. The songs can definitely be listened to individually, although some of them won't make as much sense out of context. If/when you (Nerdy Girl Blue, I know TW762 knows all of this!) listen to the album, make sure you set aside a block of time without interruptions, and either listen on a good pair of headphones or through a good sound system if you can. The first time I tried listening to the album I made the mistake of using it as background, and I couldn't concentrate sufficiently on both the music and my work at the same time. So my next personal time off day I blocked off an hour to listen through, and it was a much more satisfying experience.
I suggest that when people listen to the album, they have the lyrics available to read, as they are a bit complicated, and need to be understood in order to grasp the story line.

Has anyone told you that these are three sisters from Mexico? This video was from November, 2018. Paulina on drums here was 16 years old. Dany on guitar was 18 and Ale on bass was only 13. Even when Pau isnt singing she is still mouthing the words while she drums lol She has been playing a full size kit since whe was 7 years old... she is a beast back there. Ale went from being barely bigger than her bass to now the tallest of the 3. Dany is a great guitar player and her singing has been steadily getting better the last couple years. Pau also handles the screen behind her and the click track they use with the laptop beside her. Phil Colins used to drum and sing with genesis, don henley with the eagles did as well. BUT as you can imagine it is near impossible to be full time lead singer WHILE being a drummer. that is why Pau only sings 3 or 4 songs a show.. she said herself it is exhausting lol Anyways these awesome young ladies have great support from their mom and dad and great following which the girls show appreciation for all the time. They dont have a bad song among the 33 originals over 2 albums a 6 song EP and a single. they only have 1 actual music video all the rest is live at concerts or their home(the cave) thanks for the reaction ciao for now
You need to see Paulina (the drummer) just singing. It is a hurricane, a kind of bare wire, a train going downhill at full speed. Paulina is a superstar of a superstar band. You really haven't seen anything yet! But you have been warned!
I never 'really' paid attention to Paulina singing while playing the drums. I've watched her and that is what she does. Another reactioneer mentioned something about it's not possible to sing while playing the drums like Paulina does. It has to do with moving your arms and chest position. He's right. I've watched other drummers who sing and it's about posture, position and intensity. Paulina has a very good technique 👌. When she's singing her drumming is different then when she's not singing. I just now noticed it. Paulina is very theatrical when she plays. All the girls do it. It's what they learned at Berkeley [Berklee] College of Music [in Boston, Massachusetts]. Paulina is so good at it you can't even tell. The song writing is even worked into when Paulina can sing. These girls are years ahead of our time. A British reactioneer also mentioned that these girls are totally into using technology to put on a show. The gods of rock n roll definitely chose the right musicians to bestow their blessings on.

Somehow they're too young to have heard of rules such as "the drummer is not supposed to sing" or "the bass player is supposed to stand in place like a statue" or "young bands are supposed to do covers or pattern themselves after their elders". The music world is richer for that. They play rock and roll in a general sense. More specifically, they have a very wide range from ballads to what might be called "classic" rock to hard rock to quasi-metal and have no respect for genre -- again, that's said in a good sense. Quite a few songs sound like music I listened to in the 1970's and 1980's, but I can't say that they remind me of any particular band. That's a good thing; they're carving their own niche. They've done a lot of informal acoustic versions of some of their songs (Hunter, Sinister Smiles, Red Hands Never Fade, The End, and some other ones in response to patreon request) which are absolutely outstanding. Their studio albums are excellent, although the mixes aren't great (the next album should be worlds better -- a top notch team produced, mixed, and mastered it), but they really live for live performance.

Hey dude am a bass player and i lead my band as the vocal, and our drummer sung too and hes fckin greater than i am as the lead vocals lol, aint no rules such as that.. anyone in the band that can sustained the rythim of any song and can deliver at the same time the charisma of he's/her voice to the listener he/she can be the leadvocalist.

The Villareal sisters have released #33 original songs from an EP Escape the Mind, a LP XXI Century Blood, and a 2nd LP, Queen of the Murder Scene... all before turning 19, 17 and 14 years old. After turning down numerous offers and 7 months of negotiations, The Warning have signed a #5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group. this is the first song of the album, which is a rock novel. As you may guess from the title, this scene is from a funeral. This prologue is the main character's ghost inviting you to listen to her story, which is the rest of the album. The man speaking is the priest at the funeral talking about earning salvation. You may want to listen to the rest of the album in order to figure out the story, which they've left intentionally vague.

In this concert they were 18 (Dany the guitarist), 16 (Pau the drummer) and 13 (Ale the bassist). They are from a suburb of Monterrey Mexico. This song introduces the rock opera Queen of the Murder Scene, their second album. They have two albums, an EP and two singles. A third album was recently completed and will be released any day now.

This album is a concept album that starts out with Dust to Dust a prologue to the album about a woman who loses control after fall in love but not getting it in return. Hard to play the drums and still have the breath to sing. Now to increase the level of difficulty, do it in Mexico City, altitude 7350 ft (2240 m). These three sisters are awesome and the Lunario is a great performance.

Pau (Paulina) on the drums sings lead about 30% of the time for The Warning. Dany (Daniela) on guitar sings lead about 70% and Ale on bass sings lead when she has to (does not want to sing lead). The guy talking is their manager Rudy. Because this song is Dust to Dust (religious) he is playing the part of the preacher sermonizing. It fits the narrative of the song.

@@timnye718 yup, during Peter Gabriel’s period in Genesis from 1969 to 1975 when he left Collins sang mostly back-up vocal. Then he became their lead singer on all of the following albums and for their tour in 1978 they hired Bill Bruford on drums, still keeping a drum set for Phil so he could join in. Then they hired Chester Thompson for the remaining live gigs. On his solo performances he both sings behinds his drums like in the song “In the Air Tonight” (most famous is Live Aid in 1985 where he played the song twice, first at Wembley UK and then after have taken the, now retired, Concorde super sonic flight, to US played in Philadelphia, US) but also have a gig drummer playing with him. Other drummers that occasionally sings are Roger Taylor from Queen, Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters, Don Henley from Eagles, Karen Carpenter from Carpenters, Debbie Petersen from the Bangles, Danielle Haim from Haim (when she drums and not play the lead guitar) etc
They have a number of songs with split leads -- Pau (drummer) sings the chorus while Dany (the guitarist) sings the verses. On this album, Pau tends to sing the "good" while Dany sings the "evil", most notably on Sinister Smiles (see TimberWolf762's writeup).
LOL - loved your reaction when you saw Pau the drummer singing - she's freak'in amazing! All 3 ladies are just so impressive - obviously talented but combine that with the unending energy and passion they put into EVERY performance - just Wow. Their concept album described perfectly by other fans comments is mind blowing in that they were all teenagers writing it!

I love this band. I really loved this reaction. Three other bands that I know of have phenomenal singers like our Pau, it is extremely rare. The Eagles Don Henley, Phil Collins, and Jim Brewer of Grand Funk but Jim usually sang back up and the occasional lead, similar to Pau (POW). The Warning Army will certainly fill you in on the details.

The album is called _Queen of the Murder Scene_ and it tells a dark and tragic tale of obsessive and unrequited love that leads to stalking and madness culminating in murder, psychosis, and suicide, some very mature topics for girls that young to be writing about! It is well worth listening to the entire album in its proper sequence, and as I stated, this is the Prologue, so you've started off at the right place! Uncle Bob is their roommate who insisted on being in the show because he bought a new leather jacket and shades he wanted to show off. He talks about how he always has to do the dishes and vacuum all the time. He does this in Spanish so the crowd is oblivious to what he's saying. Can we get a fact check on this? Love seeing someone discover The Warning. These young ladies are amazing. They are 3 sisters. As many said Dani (lead guitar) sings lead more than the other two. But since Paulina (Pau) writes most of the lyrics there are some songs she likes to sing. Narcisista is a great one - it's a middle finger to the Mexican critics who complained they were writing their music in English. Alejandra (Ale) on bass will sing but it's not her preference. But she is more capable than I think even she realizes. I expect as time goes on she will come out of that shell a bit. But maybe not. The man is their manager. On tour if he is not there they do play with a click track (not lip synced for the cynics). It's a good idea to go back and watch their first major viral video - It's a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman. It was posted in 2014. At the time their ages were - Dani - 14, Pau - 12, Ale - 9. Then go to Survive from Ted Talks. It's a few years later. And since you have done Dust to Dust, check out their cover of Atlas Rising (again Metallica) from their basement. From there since you did do Dust to Dust, the first song from Queen of the Murder scene, finish that album in order. Just a suggestion. There are other songs too. theres been a small handful of bands where the drummer sings lead vocals, one example is death from above. its very rare, and its rare because its so incredibly difficult to sing and play drums at the same time. rhythm and melody are two different parts of your brain, and to sing and play drums at the same time you really have to separate those two things, like patting your head and rubbing your belly but more extreme
Don't worry, I was confused to about "Uncle Bob" when I first started listening to them. So much more to enjoy! You'll find so many gems in their collection. Yes, "Crimson Queen" would be a good one to listen to next so you can hear Dany the guitarist sing lead. Great reaction, I love seeing people's first time reaction to The Warning! There was a song in the 80's, talking about the Berlin Wall coming down, that had a guy talking German. I think this was a nod to that song. ... He calls out to Brothers, telling them not to fallow the dark but to find the light (can't remember the whole translation, just the meaning).
The closest comparison I could make would be Grand Funk Railroad they're drummer sang lead on some of their biggest hits most notably We're an American Band!!!!

They get most influenced by older bands. I think that man talking was like Vincent price would talk on iron madden tracks. So I think these girls are getting ideals from older bands. Look at their performances on the stage that's 80's and 90's era.

Paulina, the drummer only sings lead on a handful of their songs. The primary lead singer is Daniela, the guitar player. The Youngest sister Ale plays the bass. The guy was their manager Rudy. He plays the part of "The Preacher". This is the opening track to their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene. It is a concept album that tells a story and plays like a musical graphic novel. This from their debut of the album in Mexico City. At the time in November of 2018, they were 18,16 and 13 years old!
The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!.The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10 000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, RUclips and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise fund for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lock down was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50000 simultaneous viewers on March 25 2020. They have since performed from The Warning a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville Tx for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After 3 months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February 2021. All that remains as of 22 02 21 is the album design and artwork amd logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by April 2021.

You are in for a surprise !!
I know you like horror and this album is a horror story. It’s called Queen of the Murder Scene and tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. This song is the intro and is actually a funeral. “Uncle Bob” is the manager and plays the part of the preacher (in Spanish, since they are Mexican). Next would be Crimson Queen, which introduces the girl.
Rudy Joffroy is his name. Their father is co-manager.
This was from the concert at Lunario, the national performing arts center in Mexico City (CDMX, which you'll also see in references, is "Ciudad de Mexico", or "City of Mexico", analogous to Washington, DC in the US). This particular concert is where they first presented the album. It's written as an introduction (this song) followed by four chapters of three songs each depicting different stages in the young woman's descent into madness and ultimate suicide. In the concert they played older songs between the chapters and ended the song with Survive, a real crowd pleaser.
The songs can definitely be listened to individually, although some of them won't make as much sense out of context. If/when you (Nerdy Girl Blue, I know TW762 knows all of this!) listen to the album, make sure you set aside a block of time without interruptions, and either listen on a good pair of headphones or through a good sound system if you can. The first time I tried listening to the album I made the mistake of using it as background, and I couldn't concentrate sufficiently on both the music and my work at the same time. So my next personal time off day I blocked off an hour to listen through, and it was a much more satisfying experience.
I suggest that when people listen to the album, they have the lyrics available to read, as they are a bit complicated, and need to be understood in order to grasp the story line.

Has anyone told you that these are three sisters from Mexico? This video was from November, 2018. Paulina on drums here was 16 years old. Dany on guitar was 18 and Ale on bass was only 13. Even when Pau isnt singing she is still mouthing the words while she drums lol She has been playing a full size kit since whe was 7 years old... she is a beast back there. Ale went from being barely bigger than her bass to now the tallest of the 3. Dany is a great guitar player and her singing has been steadily getting better the last couple years. Pau also handles the screen behind her and the click track they use with the laptop beside her. Phil Colins used to drum and sing with genesis, don henley with the eagles did as well. BUT as you can imagine it is near impossible to be full time lead singer WHILE being a drummer. that is why Pau only sings 3 or 4 songs a show.. she said herself it is exhausting lol Anyways these awesome young ladies have great support from their mom and dad and great following which the girls show appreciation for all the time. They dont have a bad song among the 33 originals over 2 albums a 6 song EP and a single. they only have 1 actual music video all the rest is live at concerts or their home(the cave) thanks for the reaction ciao for now
You need to see Paulina (the drummer) just singing. It is a hurricane, a kind of bare wire, a train going downhill at full speed. Paulina is a superstar of a superstar band. You really haven't seen anything yet! But you have been warned!
I never 'really' paid attention to Paulina singing while playing the drums. I've watched her and that is what she does. Another reactioneer mentioned something about it's not possible to sing while playing the drums like Paulina does. It has to do with moving your arms and chest position. He's right. I've watched other drummers who sing and it's about posture, position and intensity. Paulina has a very good technique 👌. When she's singing her drumming is different then when she's not singing. I just now noticed it. Paulina is very theatrical when she plays. All the girls do it. It's what they learned at Berkeley [Berklee] College of Music [in Boston, Massachusetts]. Paulina is so good at it you can't even tell. The song writing is even worked into when Paulina can sing. These girls are years ahead of our time. A British reactioneer also mentioned that these girls are totally into using technology to put on a show. The gods of rock n roll definitely chose the right musicians to bestow their blessings on.

Somehow they're too young to have heard of rules such as "the drummer is not supposed to sing" or "the bass player is supposed to stand in place like a statue" or "young bands are supposed to do covers or pattern themselves after their elders". The music world is richer for that.
They play rock and roll in a general sense. More specifically, they have a very wide range from ballads to what might be called "classic" rock to hard rock to quasi-metal and have no respect for genre -- again, that's said in a good sense. Quite a few songs sound like music I listened to in the 1970's and 1980's, but I can't say that they remind me of any particular band. That's a good thing; they're carving their own niche. They've done a lot of informal acoustic versions of some of their songs (Hunter, Sinister Smiles, Red Hands Never Fade, The End, and some other ones in response to patreon request) which are absolutely outstanding. Their studio albums are excellent, although the mixes aren't great (the next album should be worlds better -- a top notch team produced, mixed, and mastered it), but they really live for live performance.
I dont know where the hell you heard that such rules of drummers not to sing and bass supposed what!?! Hey dude am a bass player and i lead my band as the vocal, and our drummer sung too and hes fckin greater than i am as the lead vocals lol, aint no rules such as that.. anyone in the band that can sustained the rythim of any song and can deliver at the same time the charisma of he's/her voice to the listener he/she can be the leadvocalist.

Great reaction Nerdy Girl Blue. That guy is Rudy, their manager, who is portraying a priest preaching repentance at the Queen's funeral in Spanish. The Villareal sisters have released #33 original songs from an EP Escape the Mind, a LP XXI Century Blood, and a 2nd LP, Queen of the Murder Scene... all before turning 19, 17 and 14 years old. After turning down numerous offers and 7 months of negotiations, The Warning have signed a #5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group. Their 3rd album is now complete and we are awaiting it's release with great anticipation. The Warning's strength is in their songwriting and performance. All of their songs are bangers. React to any one of them; they are all equally great. I recommend reacting to their January 19th, 2018 show at the Dakota Bar when reacting to songs off of their 1st album. this is the first song of the album, which is a rock novel. As you may guess from the title, this scene is from a funeral. This prologue is the main character's ghost inviting you to listen to her story, which is the rest of the album. The man speaking is the priest at the funeral talking about earning salvation. You may want to listen to the rest of the album in order to figure out the story, which they've left intentionally vague.

Uncle Bob is actually their manager Rudy. He plays the part of a preacher giving a sermon on salvation. In this concert they were 18 (Dany the guitarist), 16 (Pau the drummer) and 13 (Ale the bassist). They are from a suburb of Monterrey Mexico. This song introduces the rock opera Queen of the Murder Scene, their second album. They have two albums, an EP and two singles. A third album was recently completed and will be released any day now.
Triumph, The Eagles, Genesis, Night Ranger all had drummers who sang lead.

This album is a concept album that starts out with Dust to Dust a prologue to the album about a woman who loses control after fall in love but not getting it in return. So you have never heard of the Eagles or Genesis? Drummer sings lead? The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico. At the time of this they were Dany (18), Pau (16), and Ale (13). Pau (Paulina) on the drums sings lead about 30% of the time for The Warning. Dany (Daniela) on guitar sings lead about 70% and Ale on bass sings lead when she has to (does not want to sing lead). The guy talking is their manager Rudy. Because this song is Dust to Dust (religious) he is playing the part of the preacher sermonizing. It fits the narrative of the song.
@@phildeval I guess you never heard of Phil Collins??? Only one three artists in the world to have sold over 100 million albums as a group and solo artist (as drummer/lead singer of Genesis and as a solo singer).
@@timnye718 yup, during Peter Gabriel’s period in Genesis from 1969 to 1975 when he left Collins sang mostly back-up vocal. Then he became their lead singer on all of the following albums and for their tour in 1978 they hired Bill Bruford on drums, still keeping a drum set for Phil so he could join in. Then they hired Chester Thompson for the remaining live gigs. On his solo performances he both sings behinds his drums like in the song “In the Air Tonight” (most famous is Live Aid in 1985 where he played the song twice, first at Wembley UK and then after have taken the, now retired, Concorde super sonic flight, to US played in Philadelphia, US) but also have a gig drummer playing with him.
Other drummers that occasionally sings are Roger Taylor from Queen, Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters, Don Henley from Eagles, Karen Carpenter from Carpenters, Debbie Petersen from the Bangles, Danielle Haim from Haim (when she drums and not play the lead guitar) etc

The drummer actually only sings a few songs every show, the lead singer is the guitarist.
They have a number of songs with split leads -- Pau (drummer) sings the chorus while Dany (the guitarist) sings the verses. On this album, Pau tends to sing the "good" while Dany sings the "evil", most notably on Sinister Smiles (see TimberWolf762's writeup).
We just should not tell them when this happens, and let them figure it out next time they react to TW

All 3 ladies are just so impressive - obviously talented but combine that with the unending energy and passion they put into EVERY performance - just Wow. Welcome ms nerdy blue girl to The Warning universe. Check out their official video of XX1st Century Blood, they were a bit younger then but its a great video. More recent class numbers are Narcicista (sung in spanish) and Dull Knives from the Warning Cave (their basement).

Bob prefers to go by Rudy, he’s the manager of this amazing band of sisters from Mexico who are on the verge of taking the world by storm.
I love this band. I really loved this reaction. Three other bands that I know of have phenomenal singers like our Pau, it is extremely rare. The Eagles Don Henley, Phil Collins, and Jim Brewer of Grand Funk but Jim usually sang back up and the occasional lead, similar to Pau (POW). The Warning Army will certainly fill you in on the details.

The album is called _Queen of the Murder Scene_ and it tells a dark and tragic tale of obsessive and unrequited love that leads to stalking and madness culminating in murder, psychosis, and suicide, some very mature topics for girls that young to be writing about! It is well worth listening to the entire album in its proper sequence, and as I stated, this is the Prologue, so you've started off at the right place! The next song is "Crimson Queen", a largely acoustic song which introduces the main character, portrayed by Daniela ("Dany"). I would recommend that song from the same programme at Lunario in Mexico City.

Uncle Bob is their roommate who insisted on being in the show because he bought a new leather jacket and shades he wanted to show off. He talks about how he always has to do the dishes and vacuum all the time. He does this in Spanish so the crowd is oblivious to what he's saying. Can we get a fact check on this? Love seeing someone discover The Warning. These young ladies are amazing. They are 3 sisters. As many said Dani (lead guitar) sings lead more than the other two. But since Paulina (Pau) writes most of the lyrics there are some songs she likes to sing. Narcisista is a great one - it's a middle finger to the Mexican critics who complained they were writing their music in English. Alejandra (Ale) on bass will sing but it's not her preference. But she is more capable than I think even she realizes. I expect as time goes on she will come out of that shell a bit. But maybe not. The man is their manager. On tour if he is not there they do play with a click track (not lip synced for the cynics).
It's a good idea to go back and watch their first major viral video - It's a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman. It was posted in 2014. At the time their ages were - Dani - 14, Pau - 12, Ale - 9. My favorite of theirs is 21st Century Blood. They just signed with Lava Records - preferring to stay on their own until they were big enough to keep creative control of their music (talented and smart too!!). theres been a small handful of bands where the drummer sings lead vocals, one example is death from above. its very rare, and its rare because its so incredibly difficult to sing and play drums at the same time. rhythm and melody are two different parts of your brain, and to sing and play drums at the same time you really have to separate those two things, like patting your head and rubbing your belly but more extreme
Don't worry, I was confused to about "Uncle Bob" when I first started listening to them. So much more to enjoy! You'll find so many gems in their collection. Yes, "Crimson Queen" would be a good one to listen to next so you can hear Dany the guitarist sing lead. Great reaction, I love seeing people's first time reaction to The Warning! You'll probably like "Dull Knives(Cut Better)" too, but I'll stop because if I keep naming favorites I will go on and on!

NB: Check out Survive, Unmendable and Exterminated - the latter is a favourite of mine, pure grunge and all too often overlooked by reactors (Dakota Bar video for that one, it's perfect and should be turned up rather loud). Also Wildfire, When I'm Alone and Shattered Heart (really love the breakdown section, blissful, the sort of chords I used to invent before my guitars started gathering dust as life got in the way). Also check out everything else. Go through the entire Warning channel one by one, you'll love it whether you record reactions or not - they're a breath of fresh air.
There was a song in the 80's, talking about the Berlin Wall coming down, that had a guy talking German. I think this was a nod to that song. ... He calls out to Brothers, telling them not to fallow the dark but to find the light (can't remember the whole translation, just the meaning).

They get most influenced by older bands. I think that man talking was like Vincent price would talk on iron madden tracks. So I think these girls are getting ideals from older bands. Look at their performances on the stage that's 80's and 90's era.
