@@SirS2pendousyeah I paid 220 for it at launch. By time ps5 enabled theirs( took years) I got 2tb for it at about same price. Considering how much slower Xbox one is it’s extremely horrible price
Did you do any research or was all of this from memory. The 1TB card was released with the console launch for $220. The 2TB card wasn't released until almost a year later for $400. So, the 2TB card was actually cheaper than two 1TB cards originally.
WTF Xbox 360 play and charge kit works 100% on PC as all the cable does is supply power to charge the battery so if a PC has an a xbox 360 wireless dongler then the play and charge functions 100% the same on PC as would on Xbox 360, why is this video full of miss information ??
LOL there's no 4tb option because the 2230 form factor SSDs that are inside them don't exist in 4tb yet, it's got nothing to do with obsolescence. Also type-C is just a port type, it has nothing to do with what version of USB the device is capable of.
I was referring the the fact that VMU's can only hold one PLAYABLE pocket game. Not game saves. I can see how that may be confusing. Thanks for your input!
With black friday here any recommendations for xbox series x expanded storage that i can actually play games from? With out moving saves back and forth ?
Storage Expansion Card for Series X games, 8TB External HDD for Xbox Original, 360, One games. Play it directly from the storage location. Only time you can’t play it from the storage location is with Series X games that have been moved to the external HDD when you ran out of storage on the internal SSD or Expansion Card.
I gave 120 bucks for a Samsung pro ssd for my PS5 and then I see the prices of the Series X and I have yet to buy one because I refuse to pay that price. I got a couple of 4 TB external drives and just move back and forth on the Series X. PS5 got it right and now it is even cheaper than when I got my 2 TB SSD for the PS5.
MY X series does not offer to use my hdd as a game just for media drive. Do i need sd card reader with usb? or the expansion card. 1 have 1 gig X and 1 gig WD cardexpansion but all full...help please. SO annoying shame on MS !!
Nothing is going to download if storage if full, but you can change save location in Settings -> system -> storage devices -> change installation locations. I have Apps on Internal, Backwards compatible games on External HDD, Series X games on Storage Expansion Card. Might need a XB One X if you’re talking about movies and tv episodes getting saved to an external HDD since everything can go to the external HDD there. Gotta remember that Xbox isn’t a PC where you can put anything anywhere as you want.
I’m gonna game more on my ps5 because I just got a 4tb for 215. It’s just not worth it to get the expansion. Since xbox is sharing their franchises, i should be set.
I paid $229 for my 2TB card before Black Friday & an external SSD matching consoles nvme speeds would cost more that that. This whole video is weird af?!
I found the 1TB Seagate on Amazon for $140. They’re cheaper because WD released theirs for a lower price. They’re competing. Capitalism.
Hooray Free Market.
@@3Rayfire I mean, Seagate apparently had exclusive rights for a few years and they were charging $220 for 1TB. Haha

Those cards don’t work on Xbox one though. The end of your comment is confusing.
@@Just_jarmo Here I corrected it for you: ...don't work anymore

Gotta love the mass misinformation here

Xbox ssd is so much slower than ps5. It was obsolete at launch sadly. They should spent little more and used modern ssd.
What you said about the dreamcast memory card was an out and out misinformation

Just get a usb 3.2 hdd. Moving games is faster than downloading unless you have faster internet.

3:53 you've been John? Past tense? You're not John anymore? 🤦♂️🤣
This is an inside gag that I've always enjoyed. I hoped someone would catch it!

$125/TB isn’t a deal at all still.
That's how I feel. I was still waiting for the good news
I'm afraid it'll be obsolete before we see a serious price drop. Thanks for your comment!

I have trouble uninstall and re downloading so frustrating
Crazy that the expansion cards costs the same as a whole damn console
Wearing sunglasses inside and all the hand movements is annoying.
Besides the sunglasses was the information help there you bot?

MS is just greedy af 😂 the fact that they came with a solution like that and not sony is just embarrassing 😅
Ps5 has it better, any gen 4 nvme ssd not proprietary crap
It is nice to have more widely available options. Wish PS didn't make you open your console tho. Thanks for your comment!
