It takes 10-15 years of education and training to become a forensic psychologist. You must earn a bachelor's degree, then a master's degree, followed by a doctorate. You must also work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist before earning your license. The specific state regulations vary. So let's not act like its just super easy to become a forensic psychologist, or like anyone can just randomly do it on a whim. Thats utterly ridiculous

I personally believe that a big part of these apologies being genuine is acknowledging that due to the hurt you’ve caused in the past, you no longer get to lead these conversations, no matter your current beliefs. Her story can still be important, and I think it’s one that should be told. But while showcasing people who have changed their mind is an integral part of any movement, you do not get to be the face of both opposing sides.
