Your videos are really spectacular. The way you capture the natural beauty of the area and the simplicity of KK cooking is so calming. Best wishes building your channel. It’s great fun to watch, especially since I take care of my mom full time and can’t get away as I used to. However, I’m watching from beautiful Montana and often set up my tent in the backyard and have a cookout with my KK or trangia. Your videos are like a kindred spirit. Happy adventures!
Thank you for your kind words ☺️. I’ve not been lucky enough to visit Montana but I hear it is beautiful. That’s tough taking care of your mum, it’s great that you still manage to camp out in the backyard though. You can’t being outdoors! I’d take a one hundred billon star hotel over a five star hotel any day, and I do find that Mother Nature is the best therapist! Take care, Neil
Nice, old rail lines are always good for walks because they’re always relatively flat🏕😎👍. My missus used to have family down Hayling Island way😊. Nice viddy, loved the Oystercatchers singing in the background early on.
You just keep reinforcing my choice of buying the Kelly Kettle Trekker. Thanks again for sharing. Here in Australia we are into the fire ban season so it's back to the mighty Trangia with the gas burner for now.
That’s a shame you’re not able to use your Trekker but having seen some of your bush fires on the news here it’s completely understandable. The Trangia range are pretty good too though
Everything taste better outdoors, doesn't it. My husband and I love camping. For our honeymoon we spent 2 weeks on a beach in a tent! I had to smile at the "goes really well with peanut butter" 😁 as an American I, of course, love peanut butter. I hear utubers of other nationalities say, "what is it with americans and peanut butter?" It was nice to see someone else appreciate peanut butter with their jam! My favorite is a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Warm toasted bread in the winter and untoasted in the summer. First time I saw someone make a banana buttie I said, "skip the butter and use peanut butter instead"
Sounds like you had an awesome honeymoon! How could anyone not like peanut butter and jam or peanut butter and jelly 🇺🇸😉. Totally with you on the peanut butter and banana combo as was I believe was Elvis. What about peanut butter and chocolate spread, have you tried that? (it’s like a Snickers on toast 😋)
@@parkitpitchitmoorit no I haven't tried it, but I will! Sounds lovely, especially with a cup of coffee or tea. Edit: we still love camping but these days we do it in a camper (caravan). Too old to be sleeping on the ground! 🤣🤣🤣 That honeymoon was way back in 1972 when we were just 18. 👵
@@parkitpitchitmoorit our anniversary was in July and we went down to the keys (we lived in Florida) and camped for the entire month of July. We were a bit worried about the state of things, economy wise, but we had been saving for it and what the hell, 50 years is worth celebrating! Money be damn! 😁 (our country is in quite a mess. 😬 reminds of the turmoil of the 1960s and horrible inflation of the 1970s. We ate a lot of peanut butter & jelly in those days. LOL)
@@gidget8717 life’s for living, you can’t take it ($) with you! And like you say, 50 years of definitely worth celebrating. I have family in Texas so I know what you mean about the economy, not too dissimilar to the UK unfortunately.

I hadn’t noticed the Oystercatchers! 🤦🏻♂️ That’s cool that the camera picked them up though. Nice area isn’t it!

@@parkitpitchitmoorit Yes at least we are allowed an option of gas stoves. Anyway it gives me time to get a few accessories after Christmas.
