Till shoots fireworks from his rocket launcher into the air. Simultaneously, two red rockets guided by ropes are launched. After these have flown over the audience, four rockets start in the direction of the stage to trigger the explosion there.
Here as a hint of the gifting that Till has. Outside the band he is a pyrotechnic and explosive expert. This gig at Paris gives a good amount of what he's capable of. Trust me when I tell you, it's breath taking. The man is nearing his late 60's and is a doting grandparent This song is yet another one from the Mutter studio album. One of the best purchases I ever made. This gig is a true eye opener. The energy you spoke of, well it's a raw and untapped mega power that this band is able to produce playing live. If the kind of power could be harnessed, we could power up the northern hemisphere with it. And yes, this dream of a metal band are very real. Thank God !!!
Du hast! You have, you have, you have, you have me, you have me, you have me, you asked me, you asked me, you asked me, and I didn't say anything. Do you want loyalty all day, yes, no yes, no Do you want loyalty even in bad days? Yes, no, yes, no, yes, no. Do you want love even on bad days? Yes, no, yes, no yes, no. Do you want loyalty until death do us part? Yes, no, yes, no, yes, no.
5:30 yeah he did. i've seen it live too times. he is a pyrothenchician (forgive my spelling, i'm drunk) but the fireworks coming from the opposite site are attached to strings like explosive kites. they do much weirder stuff on the stage. you'll find out soon. cheers.
Heya from Germany 🇩🇪 please react to Dimash Kudaibergen singing "Ogni Pietra" the fancam version or from his own channel. Also the song "Adagio" from the singer competition - this guy is unbelievable. He is trained since the age of 5 years old and has an 6 octave range. It will blow your mind. By the way - Rammstein is one of my favorite bands. All the best from Germany and stay safe ☀️Petra
the real decent translation is rather simple. lyrics: You have asked me. And I didn´t reply. Chorus: Do you want to love her till death is tearing you both apart? - No. Do you want to be loyal till death is tearing you both apart? - No. (But there is a german wordplay in the lyrics..because by adding just one word after another before at last the sentence is finished = Du - Du hast - Du hast mich - Du hast mich gefragt = You - You have ..and so on, it seems at first that he is saying "You" - "You hate" - "You hate me" because in german "have" and "hate" sounds phonetically the same and is just written differently = "hast" and "hasst" and just by adding the last word (= gefragt/asked) the real actual meaning of the whole sentence is coming across. And the chorus is basically the traditional archaic german marriage vow, where he replys with "No"..which is a so to say then the explaination for the intented misconception with the word "hate" instead of "have" and why she rather after all might hate him.)
@@derekfalconberg3481 Ha, Ha, Ha..It´s - to be fair - a nice english rhyme but it is not in the slightest the meaning of the german lyrics....I´m a native german speaker therefore I know I mean the german sentence "Du hast mich gefragt" is so simple that even the stupid Google Translate would translate it correct.= "You have asked me" And the following sentence "Und ich hab nichts gesagt" = literally "And I said nothing" but in context it basically means "I did not reply (to your question)" And No - no group loyalty - it is soley about a man and his girlfriend..the resumed meaning of the whole song is = she obviously asked him to marry her... and it is clearly coming across that he has not in the slightest the willing to marry her... And that´s all about it, and according to the actual german lyrics there is also no room at all for any alternative meaning. they just trick the audience with that wordplay I already explained in my previous comment. that wordplay works as like saying in english My - My deer - My deer is - My deer is eating - till this point you will think I´m talking about "My dear is eating" and not about "My deer" but when I finally end the sentence with "My deer is eating hay" then you know it´s about "My deer" and not "My dear", right?

@@michaelgrabner8977 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll have to find the thing that talks about this. I know it was talked about in the Live Aus Berlin interview (perhaps Lichtspielhaus interview). One of the two they spoke on group loyalty - “If any of the six of us leaves, Rammstein is no longer.” I want to say it was Paul that said it.
Rammstein live shows appear as if the local asylum had some dangerously deranged people escape. But the madness all culminates in something absolutely magical. The German, the Industrial Metal, Till and the rest of of the lunatics are super talented. It works to perfection. Great reaction!
Went to family values 98 just for them. Put up with limp biking to see them live for the first time at 17. Seen them three times now. Number 4 will be next September
“What happened to his arms, did he get hurt?”. Yes.. it’s a Rammstein concert, they’re mental. Although the Keyboard player probably had it worse off. 😂
In German, the pronounciation of "Du Hast" and "Du Hasst" is the same, but the former means "you have" and the latter means "you hate", which gives for a nice double-entendre at the start of the song. Rammstein's lyrics are filled with purpusful double-understandings that can't be translated to English. Cheers lass. Always good to see you. Hope yer doing well. Cheerio. Oh, and yes, the sound is A-Okay, both the clip and yer voice.
Just watched this reaction and wondered have you ever reacted to the band " Nightwish " if not and you decide to here's a couple suggestions Amaranth live from Wacken 2013 or Phantom of the Opera from End of an era Ps they've had three different singers the Wacken show is Floor Jensen and she is their current vocalist the other is Tarja she is their original singer .
Till doesn't shoot anything over the crowd. That's nonsense. Yes he has that gun and yes he shoots fireworks. However, this goes out at stage roof height and at this moment new fireworks are ignited from the stage roof, which are attached to a line. That's the whole trick. The one with the volume was good this time, thanks. Very nice reaction. 😁
I think the lyrical confusion came with the fact that Hast means "have" whereas Haast means "hate." The english version just used the wrong form of the word. Intentional on the band's part.
The blood is real. He 'likes the pain' as per himself and his bandmates. He's always getting burned and taking a knife to his arms. It should be noted that he does not advertise or promote this self-harming behavior. Some fans idolise him for it 'look at his dedication to his art' but that's not the band's official stance in case you see something like that mentioned here. Offically they don't talk about it much, condemn how society handles people with mental health issues and occasionaly make quite personal songs on their issues. The song 'Ich tuh die weh' (I hurt you) deals with self-harm for example.
The most amazing thing about this vid is an arena full of French people singing in German. It's very cool to see/hear!
Same with concerts in Manchester, Moscow or New york.
@@5Andysalive I don't doubt it, I was just referring to this vid right here and not any other ones.

fireworks are real, and this is nothing, they have so much more pyrotechnics at their concerts
And if you go to a concert of Rammstein, you can get a ticket for the "firezone", but it can be very expensive. :)

Fireworks are real but the explosion on Stage was pimped up at post production.

Germans know their fire/light, trust me on that. Very interesting style/artistic sense (I personally like it quite a bit).
Im from Australia and i can guarantee they are absolutely amazing live!
No FX, just real fire. Feeling it at their show is amazing
"He is on a treadmill".
That one never gets old with reactors!
Yes, they are real, great reaction thanks, from Scotland
Oh yeah, more Rammstein live!!!

He's 59 (in 2022)...
His born 1963 so his 60 this year
He's a licensed pyrotechnicion
whenever you ask "did he just......?" question, the answer is always YES ;) that is Rammstein :) best place to be is the firezone=golden circle ;)

Lol, but the official english is “You hate me to say, and I did not obey.”
What I understand is the song is very much about group loyalty.
