I never really liked the sound of four stroke singles, but tbh, now ive gotten a cb300r, its kinda starting to grow on me. It does help that the cb is an absolutely wonderful bike.
This bike crackles a crazy amount tbh, even with the stock exhaust I sometimes hear it go popopopopop when engine braking. Its not super noticable stock, but its definitly there.
I just started riding four months ago and bought my first bike, the blue and bronze 2022 CB300R. Thanks for posting this video, I now know what exhaust I want to upgrade it with next summer :)
Just bought the exact same year and color CB300R yesterday. Today I wish I had bought a riding boot before spending 3 hours on the bike shifting like a noob. Foot is swollen but my smile is intact. LOL The CB300R is incredible so far.
Is there an after market exhaust for this bike that retains the relative quiet of a stock system, but is not a complete eyesore like the stock muffler? Such a huge pipe to put on a small bike. I realize it’s got a cat built into it, but come on Honda!
I honestly don't mind the sound of the stock, but I'm not a fan of how it looks! I've heard that Yoshimura exhausts are compliant but you might have to order a low decibel insert separately. Im in the process of doing that with my Rebel 500 so I can keep you posted✌️
@@RideYEG I've read some comments on here about the stock exhaust having a nice time. Particularly once the revs come up. But my god! It's a homely looking system. I haven't bought the bike yet. The deals on used, low KM bikes are good, but few. May go new, but it's a tough choice when a MT-03 at the same dealer is $1100 less. The looks of the CB are what win out for me. Very interested to hear how your experience goes with the Rebel. Cheers!
@@Beav014 Thanks man! The Rebel part should be coming end of the week. Been meaning to try to MT03 but yeah it's a toss up between looks and I love Honda's single cylinder
How many Bikes have you owned so far.? I sware you are following in my footsteps, which is Great.! You and I both enjoy trying out different models, and a Test Ride is just not long enough, we need them for a season. Wouldn't you agree. You & I have owned some of the same models, but also some different ones. As I have never owned a CB 300r nor a Rebel 500 (yet) I just watched one of your latest videos and it sounds like you might try to find a good deal on a Yamaha XT 250 (like I had) Let me tell you if you go in thinking it will not be half-as-good at your CRF 250L (which I also owned) then you'll be presently surprised.
What's the best exhaust for the CB300R? Let me know what you think👇

Yeah I think it's definitely a unique sound compared to the competition of twins (R3, MT03, Ninja, Z400). Thanks for watching and ride safe✌️
