I’d take the bowling ball, I’m just a rec bowler that is never going to be a professional so what do I need a lesson for. I also only have 1 ball and it came out in 2005😅

@@brettgroves8910 exactly. I haven’t bowled regularly in 7 years and was able to get consistent games over 215 and a 256 the other night after I warmed up. Would love to see a decent amateur

Now that was the best handicap so far. Was laughing a ton when you expressed how you had this in the 4th frame or so and immediately tossed it in the channel. 👍

I would never be able to figure out how Mr. Cagle does that so effectively and effortlessly but he does and he’s awesome at it so props to him and to D-Tang for trying it! Superb content as always 😁🌰
start bowling as a kid that can't lift the ball. That's where most of the weird styles and even two hand came from, they just kept their style from when they were 8
I mean, it's cool to get a ball, but a lesson is always the smart choice. Given you have your own equipment already, fixing something in your game is going to give lasting results. I get it though, having something physical to show as a reward is hard to pass up.
Definitely trying this challenge for Friday night drunken bowling.

i would for sure take the lesson, i can buy a ball he recommends. A lesson from a PBA pro is priceless.
When I didn't know how to bowl, I did the squat frog throw. First find a heavy house ball. Ask someone: No rules, Ok? Then, high squat behind the foul line and throw pendulum between the legs looking at those far away pins. Results: a foul, a gutter, lots of splits and opens, and once in a lifetime lucky weird strike. Thanks for the video. I learned and had fun too.

If I had the chance to do one of these challenges I wouldn’t use a handicap. I would try and win straight up. If I lose, I lose to one of the best bowlers in the world

Darren, I met you & Tim at a pro-am about a year ago. You guys were both awesome IRL. Anyway, I'd never seen Tim bowl before, and I was like WTF is this wizardry?
FF to a few weeks ago. I've got a local pro who bowls & teaches at the center where I work & I asked if he knew Tim. He said, "Yeah, if he's within 3 lanes of me I won't get on the approach until he's thrown his ball. I can't watch that even in my peripheral vision because it hurts my head and ruins my focus." 🤣

In general, a new storm bowling ball is a better prize than a lesson from you. If I beat you in the challenge, I would take the free ball, and then arrange a lesson from you, that I would pay for. Taking the ball and then hiring you for a lesson would be the best value.
The lesson is that Darren is one of the best bowlers in the world.
