seems like the key is to help the sub saharan economies develop and industrialise. this will in turn alleviate poverty and strengthen the central government enough so that they can deal with the terrorists at a local level. military intervention from western nations is just a temporary stop gap measure. marawi in the Philippines is a good example, a strong national government and armed force dealt with the problem all by themselves with minimal foreign non combat support
I don't see u guys commenting on Christianity when France and Britain killed million and colonised hundreds of countries, but when it's Islam we draw the line ha?
1. Crusades started BECAUSE of muslim invasions from the Ottoman Empire and the threat they posed 2. Africans had other African slaves for thousands of years, and the Arab slave trade was the largest slave trade in the world (Christians are credited with abolishing slave trade, not starting it) 3. Every people group in the history of the world colonised other countries, Europeans were just better at it 4. nuke was only dropped because the Japenese wouldn't surrender (aka a non-christian civlisation). So please Hazmah Patel, learn your facts before you blast white people for no reason
TruffelChocolade killing in the name of your God or your flag there is really no difference. To them church dictates state law to us we claim separate church and state but in reality religion plays a huge role in policy if you can't see that then explain to me why "One nation Under God" and "God bless America is sewn through out political speech and ideology. And do you honestly believe that a politician who does not have the backing of some major Christian sect could become president I think not Mitt Romney was Mormon and a lot of people where making a big deal about it and remember 08 when everyone was convinced our new president was a Muslim just because of his name. You keep thinking religious ideology does not dictate policy in American while churches raise millions to lobby against abortion. You think they do that because they care for each and every individual no matter what stage of life they are in lol I think not because as soon as that child is born by a mother ill-prepared to parent the church could care less about the financial hardships of these people if anything the church prays on the poor by saying what ever little you have give to us and in the next life we can promise you salvation and eternal bliss. Another thing we like to highlight the violence in Muslim countries and say look it's the religion and not the region that the west has occupied and made unstable since then fall of the Ottoman Empire after ww1 up until recently. The same religion was being practiced prior to ww1 and I don't recall hearing about any Islamic extremism back then or any hate for the west. In fact the east has had a long history of ignoring the west and also establishing large productive societies i.e. The ottoman Assyrian Persian Turks even the Chinese dynasties and Feudal Japan. The crusades were not a defensive war it was the west i.e. The "Holy" Roman Empire(A church ran state) attempt to regain the reach and influence it had during the height of the previous Roman Empire even when you read the history books written from a Western pov and they say that the age of exploitation was heavily funded by the church and was characterized as the expansion of western ideas to the east inorder to increase the influence and power of the church/state one in the same back then. So to say that Muslims are inherently aggressive towards the west is false it's the west that has repeatedly tried to expand east I.e the Greeks conquered Egypt and North Africa the Romans conquered Turkey and when the romans fell the west attempted to regain control of the east for 1000 years until the end of ww1. Why will there never be peace in the Middle East because Christians of the west want to control of the region for recourses but more importantly because Christians believe that Jesus will not descend and revaluation can not begin until the establishment of a Jewish state with complete control in Jerusalem the promise land. However this region was populated by a Muslim majority who also lay claim to religious sights within the holy land and is surrounded by Muslim countries who will not just allow a foreign power to dictate policy in their region. Why do you think the us sends a majority of its aid dollars to Israel to fund the development of a Jewish state we also provide weapons for free basically with the promise of a close relationship and acceptance of western ideals. Why do you think there has been non stop conflict in the region since the establishment of Israel and occupation of Palestinian. Remember when Russia annexed part of Ukraine and cited cultural an historical reasons and we freaked out. You don't think the Middle East would do the same.

It amazes me how these groups get their weaponry and communications equipment and I seldom find that being discussed. We just leave the discussion at poverty and that being the reason for recruiting.
Same way how Mexican cartels get all their gear and weaponry, same way ISIS gets its gear and weaponry, they get support from foreign nations (secret secret stuff) but often fail due to clashing ideologies
I live in one of these countries and the fact that I learn more about these on here that I learn from local media is just sad. Anyways, it's like 5 years later and I'd like to confirm that the conflict has became WORSE
the same rebels that the US helped to kill Gaddafi. The current Libyan government made many promises to the islamic groups so they could kill Gaddafi but turned their backs on them when they did the task.
What about what terrorist NATO. They got rid of Gaddafi. After that they didnt stop there, they destroyed Libyas infrastructure, ditched his gold currency, bombed Africas water supply. Starving millions and millions and you say Islam is a problem. In the 1970s under Gaddafi Libya had the 3rd highest GDP per capita after Qatar and Kuwait. With an average household bringing in 40,000 USD in the 70s. That's like 160,000 USD in today's money. With Gaddafi in power, education was free, healthcare was free, electricity was free. You would get 50,000 if you got married to buy an apartment. If you wanted to become a farmer you got free land. Now look at Libya, thanks to NATO. Not Islam. Because Libya a mostly Muslim country was the safest and richest country in Africa, richer than all the other Christian countries there...
As a muslim and arab i am very very ashamed of people putting a bad image on islam and arabs to have somebody to blame for, I promise that terrorists that claim to be muslims do not even follow the basic rules of islam, terrorism is highly frowned upon for all true muslims, may god curse those terrorists.

Muhammad doing and saying these MOST peaceful things :)
seems like the key is to help the sub saharan economies develop and industrialise. this will in turn alleviate poverty and strengthen the central government enough so that they can deal with the terrorists at a local level. military intervention from western nations is just a temporary stop gap measure. marawi in the Philippines is a good example, a strong national government and armed force dealt with the problem all by themselves with minimal foreign non combat support
What a peaceful religion..
i guess that religion is more peaceful than ur name
Ibrahim Fayyaz lmao
www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/07/terrorist-extremists-dont-kill-for-islam-or-christianity/
I don't see u guys commenting on Christianity when France and Britain killed million and colonised hundreds of countries, but when it's Islam we draw the line ha?
Religion of peace ☮️☮️☮️✌️✌️✌️
When Islam reigns freely terror arises.
At this moment in time I do not have to fear Christians killing me or my family, in the contrary to Muslims.
TruffelChocolade that’s true, but both are equally danger, Christians are playing it in more sophisticated way, using political influence
OK

*Great job guys!*
It amazes me how these groups get their weaponry and communications equipment and I seldom find that being discussed. We just leave the discussion at poverty and that being the reason for recruiting.
Can you believe drawing a simple line in the middle east and africa caused this many death?
Same way how Mexican cartels get all their gear and weaponry, same way ISIS gets its gear and weaponry, they get support from foreign nations (secret secret stuff) but often fail due to clashing ideologies

Intervention (Libya) causes instability which causes more intervention
Libya was on a path to stability after Gaddafi. Until Qatar funded extremists to fight the legitimate government.
the same rebels that the US helped to kill Gaddafi. The current Libyan government made many promises to the islamic groups so they could kill Gaddafi but turned their backs on them when they did the task.

Y’all blaming Islam just sounds racist and that’s a fact
Don´t agree with everything you post, but this was amazing right here
As a muslim and arab i am very very ashamed of people putting a bad image on islam and arabs to have somebody to blame for, I promise that terrorists that claim to be muslims do not even follow the basic rules of islam, terrorism is highly frowned upon for all true muslims, may god curse those terrorists.
