You’ll wanna try this one 👀 trust me 🤩 CRISPY OYSTER MUSHROOM SANDWICH
INGREDIENTS
Small oyster mushroom clusters
Arugula
For dry batter:
2 cups quinoa flour
2 tsp each: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, dried parsley
For wet batter:
5 tbs ground flax seeds
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 1/2 tbs mustard
Pinch of salt and cracked black pepper
Avocado oil for frying
For Alkaline Ranch:
1/2 cup vegan mayo
4 tbs plant milk
1 tbs dried dill
2 tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder
1 tbs chopped chives
Squeeze of lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl season raw mushrooms until coated. Dredge in wet and dry batters 2 times each. Fry on med-hi heat until golden, crispy and cooked through. For ranch, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine. Assemble sandwich and enjoy.
