Thanks for the tips,19 going on 20 and want a r/t so bad,I’m getting quoted like 350+ for insurance
Did you end up getting it ?
@@Yqshhhh yea I still have mines, going on 3 years now.its on my channel @vondaytona
Insurance is crazy on the Scat that's what made my decision to get an RT lol my insurance was going to go up $172 a month for a Scat smh that's $2k a year I can do mods with that lol good info kool vid bro 👍🏽👍🏽
great choice either way. You can always upgrade
@@Motorlytics yes sir indeed bout that time 👍🏼
I pay 150 a month for a 17rt and I'm 21 years old. But I'm lucky I have a clean record and 700+ credit score, thinking of trading my rt for a scat this coming month.🔥 I'll be posting it on RUclips when I do
lol, 100% not your own insurance lil buddy. Makes a huuuuge difference being on the family insurance, and thats ok.. Not a damn thing wrong with that... GL.
@@l2kxboost was finna say bro😂 i’m on my own insurance with a v6 and pay $230, looking at RTs put me at 350+ insurance. if ur paying less than $200, ur def on the family insurance plan
BASICALLY START OFF WITH A RT AND WORK YOUR WAY UP ITS ONLY UP FROM A RT FINANCIALLY💯🤑
Great video bro
Thank you!
230$ with Statefarm for my RT. Statefarm seems to be the cheapest insurance for mopar
@@Motorlytics ohhh yeah I totally forgot about that with the Scatpacks.
$230/month?
Maybe location has something to do with it but everyone keeps saying that they pay less than 200 a month for a 400 horsepower muscle car, now I'm no genius but something smells like BS
well hey can't speak for anyone else, but all Ik is what I pay. with good credit, decent driving record, right location and company anything is possible I believe.
Location has a lot to with it. I know in South Florida the insurance rates are higher if you live in the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Under $200/mth insurance for a 400 horsepower muscle car is not BS. My insurance company quoted me $151/mth for a regular Dodge Charger R/T Hemi, $149/mth for a Challenger R/T and $142/mth for a Chrysler 300 S Hemi. Those rates would probably be lower if I lived in the mid to North Florida area.
You are correct!
I'm 21 paying a little over 200 for a 02 mazda. Was looking into buying a charger gt or rt. If I choose to get a rt I'd finance. Life is short & shit I wanna have fun. The only thing is the gas on the rt👀
I got a 700+ credit score at 19 tryina get an RT I have Geico currently but they quoted me at 480 a month :/
What was the numbers? Interest? Loan length? Overall loan amount?
So point is get a rt put bolt ons and you will make same power a scat pack makes Lower insurance rate and not pay the extra thousands of dollars for scat
is it smart to get a r/t 5.7 at 17? for insurance ?
Depends on how responsible you are and your driving ability. The 5.7 is still a power car
As far the insurance i would just check rates before the buy.
music, ughh...
thank you for your comment
You also should mention the monthly amount bro
I didn't mention it because its relative bcuz I got 3 cars on my policy I can see what each vehicle is costing me every 6 months but to break down how much of my payment every month is different. Its not as easy as dividing it by 3 bcuz each car is costing me different every 6 months.
@@Motorlytics Got it! Thanks bro!
@@kimdavis5631 no problem anytime ✊🏾
I’m looking forward to buy a rt but it’s gon be my first car what’s the advice you woulda give me
@@Motorlytics Why always ride in sport mode? I just bought one last week
@@Motorlytics Thanks for the reply! I will now drive in sport 😂🤙🏽
Would you recommend me as an 18 yr old to get a new charger rt ? Been working my ass off to get a good first car
This definitely would be a car I’d keep but also other questions I have would be how is it on gas as a daily driver knowing it’s a v8 and also is a 40k car a lot for an 18 yr old ?
How much of a down payment would I put whether it’s new or used ? You probably discussed that in the vid but I forgot
Preciate it I might get a used one but as they say it’s smiles per gallon that matter definitely wanna get that car before this summer
What’s the difference between R/T Scatpack and 392 scatpack?
Took forever to get $ figures
👍🏾
Insurance be killing me😂😂 I’m 22, 2 accidents (one wasn’t my fault), got a low 700’s credit score and I got a 20 charger rt and mines like 539 a month 😒
@Berkay Ak mines full coverage
And I’m bitching about 440$ a month rn
