That car is so freaking bad ass, we NEED to see more of it. Hanging out with your friends, tinkering on old muscle cars all day. You live a charmed life Mr. Puddin' and it's beautiful to see.
Anything you do with Slick in it is must see tv. But to bring back to life his dads car , after sitting all that time at the house , thats priceless . The home movies with Slick and his family around that car says it all . Family values have always been a big part of your channel . Never loose sight of that . Shout out to slicks mom for getting this ball rolling . And of course the cherry on top of this content was getting to see Bill again . Keep 'em coming .
You and Slick need to keep working on her and get her road worthy! It was good to see you two having so much fun on a car you two grew up seeing just setting there for years. It was also nice to see Bill at the shop!
Very cool to see you two bring a old bird back to life. Never understood why GM gave up on her. Pontiac firebird and trans am always out class the camero in style and speed. I don't care what anybody says. Please share more on what is going on with the old bird. Ones that can be saved. Need to be saved. Looking forward to see you guys progress.
Coming from my family of veterans I believe we heard you say that you served. Thanks for your service, from a family of veterans that stretches from WW2 to the present day. Nothing like a little humor to make the day go well.
I would love to see this on the channel. It gives you content to share and it gives Slick something to make memories with. Plus watching you and slick work together is always a good time.
Firebirds are my favorite cars, especially the 1st and 2nd gens. FYI a Pontiac 400 is not a big block motor. Basically all Pontiac blocks are the same external size, so there is no big block or small block designation, it's just a Pontiac block. I wince every time I hear someone say "Pontiac big block" lol. Nice car Slick has there.
Lost my dad during the pandemic and I would love to have an old car of his to bring back. Sitting here with a big dumb smile on my face watching this. More Firebird content please ✌🏾
Super special to see Slick's baby films with him and the car... good to see Bill again too... you don't think about that, but you may end up lonelier out there... hope not. Yes, more of this car and Slick... obviously.
Definitely gotta do more with the dirty bird. I'm happy to see y'all wrenching together. Happy for slick gettin a family hot rod up and running again. Can't wait to see how it turns out when it's finished. Great video once again
It is cool to see something that has been in a family for so long back running and close to being on the road. Please show more progress with this gem. Love the channel and what you do. Keep it up!!
Love the firebird, and bill is absolutely the secret sauce to this video. Not only is he a good friend to puddin, but a good mechanic. The 3 of you guys putting your heads together makes a great video!
Aweee little Slick, him and his dad back then could pass for twins. I vote for a future second channel video with that Banshee in the garage and the three wheeler and any other motorcross type treasures in the Texas chain saw lean-to. 😬
I absolutely love 1st. Gen. Firebirds!!! Would love to see you and Slick 50 do a complete build on this one, all the way to a nice, clean paint job. It was great seeing all 3 of you together again.
YES GO AHEAD AND DO A" COMPLETE 💯 PERCENT FACTORY STOCK ORIGINAL SHOWROOM FLOOR RESTORE ON THIS ONE AND KEEP IT IN THE. FAMILY FOR ANOTHER 3 or 4 generations and enjoy your family legacy..pull the tank and check to see if the original factory stock sheet is there find out the full true history of it and this will make you even happier for the factory stock restoration.. when y"all are finished. Trust me ..I did this with my 65" Pontiac GTO convertible and I have been offered $300K bye a collector of GTO"s😮 and I" don't regret spending the 22 years it took forever me to find all the original factory stock parts .
Another great video! You and Slick work so well together. Miss seeing Bill ride in on his bicycle. Would definitely like to see a series of videos showing the Firebird being built.
Knew you wouldn't let us down on the powerwashin. Fun content with you and slick. Pontiac did run their 2 starter wires down thru that tube to protect em from the manifold heat And that single leaf spring swap out with one air shock was common to help launch on the subframe GMs.
This car could be the perfect next build series for the channel in my opinion. You have done an amazing job thru this channel of making your fans feel like friends and your friends feel like our friends as well. I say you on mechanicals with maybe a guest appearance if possible from the great Mortske and a chance to really see Slicks body work in action and finally a car with some paint (don’t get me wrong, I love the patina cars/trucks) but this one deserves paint. This could be a hit build series and bonus of helping your buddy rebuild a car from his childhood for his kids one day.
I believe this is one of your best videos I have seen in over a year. Love your interaction with Slick. Hope he gets the Firebird reassembled and show us his progress.
I love watching you two work together. I love how you trust each others decisions without question. Excellent video and I’m a little partial to the hot rods too.
I love Firebirds especially the 67 and 68 they are my favorite birds. Thanks for showing this and I'm really glad to see how far this car came in this episode.
67 had mono leaf springs. Non staggered shocks and the area where the piece of flame cut steel is used to be rubber. The steel is an old hot rod trick. In 68 they changed to staggered shocks and multi leaf springs
That was sweet, definitely a little more Firebird content is needed. Real nice of Slick to pick Bill up on his way out to your place, didn’t realize how much I’d been missing him on your channel until he popped up behind Slick. It’s always a special day when either he or Puddin Pops make an appearance.
My mom had a 68" Firebird that I wanted so bad when I was in junior high school by the time I got to highschool she had gotten rid of it so I went ahead and bought myself a 65" Mustang for $250.00 it needed some work but I was to the task this just reminded me of it that's all Slick is Lucky to have a friend like you Puddin thats all I'm going to say about that
Loved it! Definitely need more of the Bird. Slick & you play so well of each other its a blast just to watch. Keep it up! We watch as a family every Monday
great video! so cool seeing something that sat at your buddy’s for years and get it running together. hang some exhaust and get it on the road… doesn’t need to be perfect, hope to see it back
That was an awesome video - loved every minute of that 2 hour and 2 minute presentation situation. That home video really brought a different feel into the whole project - hot damn that was a goodin'
Absolutely more firebird content. That car deserves the puddin an slick fitty touch. Quit sittin on ur asses an finish the project. U got all the parts for a driver!
I knew it was gonna be a good day when Puddin puts out a two hour video. Great video boys, that car deserves a restoration. More FireChicken content please!
I know y'all love the patina look, but I would love to see you do this car more complete and finish the way Slick's Mom and Dad were wanting it back in the day. Lets see Slicks Paint and Body skills along with your Mechanical/fab skills.!
Slick was as happy as kid at the candy store once that classic got up n runnin. That smile on his face said it all. Keep on workin on it. Good job guys 😎
Really want to see yall get the firebird closer to driving.!! Great job ! Always like seeing tiu and slick working together. Congrats slick on getting her up n running!
Hell ya! I love watching you and Slick having fun! There's nothing better than a couple of friends having fun fixing cars! Especially a muscle car. Stay awesome Puddin!
Definitely new to see more of you, slick 50 and bill. Would love to see this hit the road. Keep up the great work buddy. From mick Derbyshire England 🇬🇧
Holy moly, what a great episode. Love to see y’all get together and put that thing back in the field spinning donuts. Would love to see you get that thing on the road fix it up a bit even with a flat black mad max paint job give it the love it deserves.
Wife and I just finished watching your Firebird show. What a jewel bro. I love that Firebird and having you helping out was even better. Her and I are gonna start watching you full time now.
Firebirds and GTO's some of my favorite cars. The Early Pontiac V8 did not have a big or small block, they used one similar block layout for all V8's from 326 to 455, with heads, crank and rods for each size. Great engines.
What a super cool episode!! Full time with slick and even got to see bill come by!!! And a muscle car?!! Yep, definitely a great video! You guys are awesome!!
Another amazing video mate. Really grateful. Would love to see it driving and together for the road. Make great content and what an amazing memory for slick and his mum. 🙏🙏👍👍
The rotor needs to be aimed at #1 on the driver's side. Hard to tell in a video but I think you might need to pull the distributor and reset it. And the #1 on the distributor is to the right of center (driver side)

@jaysonhallson-ow5gp I don't know where you get off thinking that, with the engine at TDC compression on #1 cylinder, the tip of the rotor in the distributor needs to be pointing to the terminal on the cap where you connect the wire to #1 spark plug.
Great seeing you get Slicks Dads old car up and running be great if you could find yourself an old muscle car for a build for yourself great work love your channel.
Absolutely awesome car guys 🤘 it seems to me it's time to do a complete restoration including a paint job on this channel Puddin. Keep up the great work and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
Top tier video tonight boys! Nice job with this one. Loved the change up in how the end was edited. Hope now that Puddin got a little taste of muscle cars he sees some potential in some of the “field cars” in those yards he visits. V8 rear wheel drive and your good to go😉

You absolutely need to bring more firebird content, that thing is so sweet.
With ya 💯
Those first Gen birds look soooo good.
Wish I hadn't sold my '68 .
Yes indeed
Yes please!
Ya gotta get that ol girl done up .would be great to see yall git her back on the road
I agree
That car is so freaking bad ass, we NEED to see more of it. Hanging out with your friends, tinkering on old muscle cars all day. You live a charmed life Mr. Puddin' and it's beautiful to see.
You two are priceless when you work together.
Man, only thing better than working on cool old cars, is having your buddy with you to do it! Love seeing you and Slick working on stuff together!
My first car was a 67 Firebird that I still own 34 years later. Love this and so cool y'all are working on it!!!
Anything you do with Slick in it is must see tv. But to bring back to life his dads car , after sitting all that time at the house , thats priceless . I love how pudding has come so far that he can have a custom house and a bad ass garage, yet still can't replace his leaf blower! Great video.
Yeah....Puddin has come a long way.....pudding is something you feed your pre-schooler for dessert........
your so smort 😂
priorities, lol
@@urbanurchin5930 it still works, so…..
@urbanurchin5930 most likely he was auto corrected

Would love to see the bird completed! Wouldn't mind even seeing a paint job on it and that process to get it there. Nice job!
Hell yeah we want more content! It was nice to see all three of you together.

Bill is to Puddin' as MoJo is to Mortske! Both are true gems!

You should sell a shirt where the proceeds go to this project. I want to see more of this. You and Slick50 are so fun to watch!
Not really! Kind of corny and don't think they both know what they are doing! Get to the church!
Aweee little Slick, him and his dad back then could pass for twins. I vote for a future second channel video with that Banshee in the garage and the three wheeler and any other motorcross type treasures in the Texas chain saw lean-to. 😬

HOT DAMN!! It's another TWO-HOUR Puddin and Slick Fiddy EXTRAVAGANZA!!
Another great video! You and Slick work so well together. Miss seeing Bill ride in on his bicycle. Would definitely like to see a series of videos showing the Firebird being built.
Love watching you guys together! I am sure Slick's mom is proud!
I heard about Puddin 10 times watching Mortske today, he’s officially obsessed!
You'll hear about mortske a couple times here
ski@@jacobbennett596
Best of both guys I’m a fan
Good viewing on both to say the least
Knew you wouldn't let us down on the powerwashin.

Man PLEASE keep the Pontiac vids coming, lets see a full resto series.
I agree 100%
Absolutely 100 percent full build
They should get some puddins fab shop blue for the interior
I believe this is one of your best videos I have seen in over a year. Love your interaction with Slick. Hope he gets the Firebird reassembled and show us his progress.
Loved this video. The puddin squad back together. I’d 100% love to see this car get done. 👍🏼
I love watching you two work together. I love how you trust each others decisions without question. Excellent video and I’m a little partial to the hot rods too.
Keep working on this car, Puddin. Make it be the best it can be. Great content.
Absolutely want to see more of this car!
I love Firebirds especially the 67 and 68 they are my favorite birds. Thanks for showing this and I'm really glad to see how far this car came in this episode.
Agreed! Puddin and slim keep working on the fire chicken! It's a great project and would be cool to slims momma's reaction when it's roadworthy again!
67 had mono leaf springs. Non staggered shocks and the area where the piece of flame cut steel is used to be rubber. The steel is an old hot rod trick. In 68 they changed to staggered shocks and multi leaf springs

You too are freaking funny 🤣 I came across your video by accident but now I'm going to subscribe and see how it goes so far so good 👍
Yes, an episode with Bill, Slick & a Firebird is great!. Love to keep seeing more and more Pontiacs on youtube :).
Hell yeah, more please. That thing went from Fire Turd to Fire Bird! It's always good when Slick and Bill are part of your videos!!
We need a full build series, you know Slick is beyond happy his Dads ride is alive again.
I love this car. Well done Slick, Bill and Pudin!
I love a mini truck but the change-up was great to see. Would love to see this build finished and a matching shirt!
The little romp around the yard- very fun to watch. You did well as novice Pontiac wrenches.
Cool that you got Slicks dads car running. I'm hoping yall will do more on this firebird revival 👌
This video was almost as much fun to watch as the Model A one. Always good to have your buddies around a sweet ride.
Hell yes we want more. Love old American muscle. Enjoy having Slick and Bill around.
Yes! Need the bird and slick back for sure! Would love to see the progression of that car!

MORE FIREBIRD PLEASE !! such a great video ! Man i wish i had buddies like you guys , it would make working on old cars way more fun !
The smile on slicks face says it all ❤ well done fellas 😊
My jaw was on the floor when lil' tiny tyke Slick was shown with the '67 Pontiac. What a wonderful connection to the past.
Hey Puddin, it's really great you helped Slick out and got this thing running again!
great video! so cool seeing something that sat at your buddy’s for years and get it running together. hang some exhaust and get it on the road… doesn’t need to be perfect, hope to see it back
I’m not much on muscle cars but I absolutely love that one because of its history and how much fun y’all had. More please!
Fantastic artistry and workmanship - Incredible long-play video... Many THANX !!!!!
I knew it was gonna be a good day when Puddin puts out a two hour video. Great video boys, that car deserves a restoration. More FireChicken content please!

Yes!!! Please give us more Firebird content with you and Slick!!! You seem to have a great time together and who doesn't love muscle cars!!!
All time respect for adding those family movies! Just peace and love❤
I used to pester Slick and his family all the time about this car. So glad to finally see it running and moving!!!
Hell ya! I love watching you and Slick having fun! There's nothing better than a couple of friends having fun fixing cars! Especially a muscle car. Stay awesome Puddin!
This is a must build on the channel. You and Slick made the videos fun to watch and so does Bill. Keep the build of Sicks dad's car going.
Definitely new to see more of you, slick 50 and bill. Would love to see this hit the road. Keep up the great work buddy. From mick Derbyshire England 🇬🇧

Man oh man here we go with more Puddin action
It was good to see the three of you guys together.I love that Firebird.Keep it coming.
Best DANG Firebird story ever! 🏆❤ 🙏🏽 You Boys Out Did Yourselves! Enjoyed every minute of it!
More Firebird please.... as a former owner of a '68 Camaro, it's great to see these old cars rip again!!
Yes, an episode with Bill, Slick & a Firebird is great!
Keep the firebird content coming and if Slick does the body and paint I would love it not many Pontiacs have a Pontiac motor in them anymore
definitely going to have to pick yourself up a tire changer for that shop
Wife and I just finished watching your Firebird show. What a jewel bro. I love that Firebird and having you helping out was even better. Her and I are gonna start watching you full time now.
Too cool how you guys work together. The Pontiac was awesome. Whatever you do it's awesome to watch. Keep it up.

Like everyone else said, keep going on it! Love seeing a muscle car on your channel!
I love this content. It's always great to hear soft-spoken Slick's one or two words. Great show
Hey Puddin 👋, great video on the firebird, and great seeing Slick and Bill. Thanks for sharing 👍
Was thinking the same. Maybe a tooth off?
It doesn't matter where the rotor is pointing as long as the #1 plug wire is aligned with the rotor, while the #1 piston is at TDC 0°. The only reason GM points rotor a specific way is so the vacuum advance bell can rotate without hitting something thus minimizing your timing adjustment travel.

You can set #1 anywhere on the cap it does not matter as long as the rotor is pointing to it at TDC.
That Poncho is a Sweet Ride! 😉👍

V8 rear wheel drive and your good to go😉
I'm no expert on carbs and intake manifolds, but I'm pretty sure you can't ignore the difference in the openings between the carb and the intake. 1:37:05. That gasket was definitely WRONG - covering up the secondaries into the manifold. Probably need to find a machined spacer that adapts the two different shapes for smooth airflow.
Great video, Puddin. Would love to see a budget friendly restoration of the firebird!
Awesome video guys. It's definitely in the top 10 best. Keep working on it and let's see what it looks like once you're done.
Yep, more Firebird in the future. I'd like to see a build similar to the wagon.
Man, that's so awesome that Slicks heirloom car is running. Please please have more long term firebird content on the channel.
Hopefully y'all put the time to make it correct and make it to whatever Texas get together next fall or in 2025
❤🙏🏼
P:s Did Slick say he has a super charger ?? 😂😂😂
priceless - love that you guys worked together on this - not tearing up, it must just be the exhaust fumes
Love it!!! My first car was a 1977 TA, so I’d love to see more of this build!
My first car was a '77 Trans Am too!!
