YUP, I HAVE A BAD BRAIN TUMOR AND THE PAIN IS INCREDIBLE, BUT THEY ALWAYS MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AND LESS PAINFUL. THE MOST BEAUTIIFUL AMAZING BAND ON THE PLANET. I REALLY WANT TO GO SEE THEM OCT 14TH AT SACRAMENTO, BUT IT'S SO HARD FOR ME TO TRAVEL. I WANT TO TAKE MY LITTLE BROTHER WHO LIVES IN SACRAMENTO TO SEE THEM. DAY BY DAY! DAY BY DAY! I REALLY NEED TO SEE THEM AGAIN LIVE
From Japan Ningen-Banji-Saiougauma It's a parable that you don't know when happiness will turn into unhappiness, and unhappiness will turn into happiness, so you shouldn't be happy or sad easily.
The animation company talking to Band-Maid about the song: "Can you match the energy of the anime?" Band-Maid: "What's it about?" Company: "Dudes punching the heck out of each other." Band-Maid: "Yeah. We can handle that."
They actually have to step it up to match the energy of Band-Maid. I watched it, and dudes are getting beaten basically to death, but nobody in the anime comes close to taking a beating like Akane's drums.
Just Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things. There is no doubt that this is Band-Maid. The ladies have perfected their own unique sound. Rock on Ladies 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 (1 for each of our Maids)
How do they keep doing it? Really stupendous song, fantastic performance. You would never think they are touring US and Japan and yet find time to compose, arrange and perfect such a complex rocker. The beloved scruffy little genius must be in hyperdrive and the rest Akane and Misa in particular are just playing at a whole new level. Masterful in every aspect.
It is unreal how many great songs one band can release! This song is amazing! The CCs were there the second time I watched it. See you at the show on Sunday. I’m planning on going to the GG podcast as well. I’m at the airport now to go see the Chicago show.
The first few seconds alone, right? 🔥🤘🏻 These hit machines seem to have an endless supply of fuel. The cover artwork with Miku looks pretty amazing, but they could have easily featured Akane on it as well. If she keeps playing like this, her leg muscles will soon match. 🙈🤣 _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Forever!"_ 」 - from *BAND-MAID* - 'Manners' 🎶🕊
For this song, I think Kanami listened to the old stuff again thoroughly. Some Don't let me down at the beginning, some So What during the verse and a lot of Unfair Game during the verse and chorus. Quite a bit of vibe from 2017 is back, which I'm very happy about. Saiki doesn't have to go to her highest heights vocally anymore, but can go easy on her voice like she did back then. This is of course advantageous for live performances, where she often has to sing above her natural vocal range in my opinion. (Sometimes I wonder, why Kanami chooses the key so high. Maybe she uses her own voice as a benchmark, or is some easier to play on the guitar, especially for Kobato?) Needless to say that all of them are on an extraordinarily high level by now and can accordingly set brilliant accents everywhere in the song. This song is well worth listening to.
My god that was powerful! They are just next level. I knew you were getting serious when your glasses came off. lol. You guys are so lucky, you'll get to see it live in Minneapolis. Enjoy! I will be waiting for your impressions. Thanks Wave. Enjoy! I'm not envious at all. 😭😂 Hope you're feeling better.
Mincho puts so much into every little detail that it takes a dozen listens to catch half of it (for me, anyways) First listen, I struggled to catch the groove Second listen, I was able to follow the structure Third listen, I’m getting a grip on the main riff My brain is in shambles
Today was EPIC! I received My 'Tenth Anniversary Best" CDs yesterday and listened to Vol. 1 on the way to a meeting and the "Shambles" premier on the way home.
Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Wave!
I absolutely adored that intro riff. I was expecting a ballad and we got heavy MAIDs! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 Love the song, best one they've put out since Corallium IMO.
In my impression, mixing is a little different from their past songs. The way each instrumental part is mixed into this song is done so that it stands out so clearly and separately but it is so well integrated in one tune. I felt something new and fresh this way.
I think Akane was trying to live up to the title 'Shambles'. She seems to have forgotten what the word 'pocket' means in the world of drumming. Ha!Ha! Kidding. But what a display. Feed the girl some bananas.
Breathe … no other band makes your head spin from one listen and then forces you to listen multiple times just to grasp some of what BAND-MAID does. BAND-MAID doing BAND-MAID stuff… no one else does it better
I've been looking for an "Air Drummer" replacement since The Professor retired in 2015 (and sadly passed away in 2020). I think Akane is a worthy replacement. They have so much in common when it comes to understanding percussion and how it is an integral part the the overall sound of the music they play(ed). They are/were musicians that play drums, not drummers that play music.
Heavy music, great lyrics, great song- Band Maid is at it again!!!! Maybe they'll open with this tonight in Chicago. I'll be there waiting. This is way better than Christmas!!!!!
Hell Yeah! this one was a rocker! I'm so psyched for this BIG Maid weekend. Watching them on HULU tomorrow then seeing live Sunday, what a great time to be alive!! 🤘🤘
Wave, the ladies had me at the first note. A new favorite! By the way, you guys catch Saiki’s gasp at the end? Quite sexy if the fan boy in me would speak.☺️✌🏻❤️
Glad you enjoyed the premiere even with your health issues. As you said, it was totally worth it lol Hope you feel better, take your time to process Shambles, and ofc enjoy the okyuji!
That was Amazing! How do you even describe that song to someone? Brilliant Organized Chaos? Band-Maid was already on a whole new level before this song, now they’ve gone up 10 notches with this song.
Is this Premier just about a few minutes ago released...? All Instruments on the "goddest level" but Damn The Bass is really "Something" in here... Hhe...
I personally wished they added a little less effects on the vocals, but the effects they used aren't too bad and I'm sure I will get used to them. The track doesn't sound to me like their modern sound, which is a cool surprise. It's more like their older sound mixed with some modern sound, part of the song sounds pretty much lifted from one of their old tracks that I can't put my finger on now. That all said, I do enjoy the track for sure. Not among my favourites, but certainly enjoyable. I do agree that this will probably be a great one live, not sure if they will play it during this US tour, but who knows. I also want to wish everyone in the US an amazing time with the upcoming Band-Maid tour, I didn't even realize they were already back touring the US.
They have that effect quite often. You are reminded of something, positively, but can't name exactly. For me, this was simply hard hard rock, a reminder they are not some new age progressive band.
@@UltraHD.7 That must be it, since it's apparently the track that is stuck in my head since I heard their new one (I had to quickly check if it was that one). It also proves that it reminds me of their old sound.

Same lol
Same here! If Mincho makes him take the shades off with that look of pure awe on his face, you know it kicks ass!
Wave, you look like you needed a seat belt for this song! LOL! Badassery!
Band Maid broke Wave's brain!
Without sun glasses just makes it better!

Band Maid website just sent out this "Shambles" will be the ending theme song for Netflix "Kengan Asura" Season 2!"
Cool! Thanks for that.

This is why I love Wave's reactions. No put on's, no fakery, real emotion. Thanks Wave. Another great one. And for the song... "hell yeah". 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Just Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things. There is no doubt that this is Band-Maid. The ladies have perfected their own unique sound. Rock on Ladies 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 (1 for each of our Maids)
The confidence of Akane to be able to repeat this song evrery night in concerts, it's insane. Please deep dive. Take care.
Saiki taking that breath right at the end

The concert in Kawasaki was great, but they didn’t even mention that the new song was coming up! Damn! I wanted to see this live performance!
The end of the tour is in Yokohama so they may be reserving new songs for that one since they'll record it for the blu-ray release.

Watched this premiere with my friends at the coffee shop tis morning. Solid bass throughout the song!!! Soooo Band Maid, sooo cool!
awesome you were first reactor up Wave......watch again and the CC's will show up
Love the little fake-out of Saiki taking a breath and then nope it's over
Captions are up now
That was amazing. Akane's kicks are so good here.
I can easily see this as a set opener for this leg of the tour.

Please a deep dive! Heard it this morning and like you, I was literally blown away! It's magnificent chaos! Just wow!
Wave, need you ask about a deep dive - HELL YES!!!!!! You’ll be in my prayers for your health - take care.
Throwback to their earlier sound.
Akane is such a PRECIOUS GEM! She's absolutely fantastic.
Hell yes, Akane and MISA are killing it. Mincho lays down a heavy rif
Apparently, there is no limit to Akane's badassery. She just keeps one-upping herself. She was straight up filthy in this. 😎
Ahhh-Kaaaa-Naaaaay!!

A little Dice. A little Unfair Game. And a whole lot of Misa and Akane. Perfection.
Sai and Kyo from Saiki at the end was so cool, Shambles is epic, left me in complete shambles
Glad you're getting to see them live. I've seen them several times and they never disappoint. Have a great time!
Can't wait for deep dive, congrats to Band-Maid for another anime triumph, hoping for a EP built from this song.
I found myself thinking just a few days ago that they're due for another song release. Voila!!!
Hell yeah, bro! i got my notification. This track is the shit. Another banger.
Just in time for tour USA.
I hope I can get tickets.
Feel better. See y'all on Sunday

One of the best 'Shambles' Reactions I've seen in the last few months!
Waiting for the drum cover 😅.
はやっ!
Like a great medley of Different, hate?, Manners, Warning, Dice, Rinne - Pure Band-Maid.
Appreciate you doing this Wave! Hope you get better soon.
I think Akane was trying to live up to the title 'Shambles'. She seems to have forgotten what the word 'pocket' means in the world of drumming. Ha!Ha! Kidding.

Please do a deep dive man. I want to know everything about this song. It is probably my favorite song they have ever done.
Great tune. Love the growling undertone. Seeing them in Mpls this weekend. Hope you feel better by Sunday! 🍌🤘
having this now on repeat

Initial thoughts: the groove of Manners, the heaviness of Black Hole, and a little Memorable sprinkled in the middle lol
Yeah, I hope they give a *"Shambles"* world premiere tonight at the Lollapalooza Aftershow. Give 'em something to remember!
I forgot about that after show!
This is actually metal!
Is this the 225 BPM song that Mincho told Herman Li she wanted to do?
Heavy music, great lyrics, great song- Band Maid is at it again!!!! Maybe they'll open with this tonight in Chicago. I'll be there waiting. This is way better than Christmas!!!!!

Holy Buckets, indeed! There is no roof on Band-Maid's potential!
This riff is really heavy. It's as close to metal as Rinne. Good job Wave!
Fantastic! Get your drum sticks around that one.
Oh weird, the captions were working for me when I watched it during the premiere!
THANK YOU for noticeing the Sickness of Akane s drumming in this Song thats the First Thing i ve noticed first Listen
It left me in shambles listening to this- BandMaid you did it again-CC on you player it works for me Wave Runner Potter
That was a CRAZY ride right from the first distorted note!
tomorrow they are live at lollapaloza , on hulu
Yes, Band-Maid are the best medicine.
Can't wait to see them on Sunday! Such a great song and as always, Band Maid being Band Maid.
Thank you for goooood reaction!!
Subtitles have been added to the MV, so please do a deep dive including the lyrics!!!!!!
I hope Band-Maid are earning quite a tidy sum from all these anime OST. For all the effort and hard-work they put into these songs, they deserve it.
I would watch a deep dive on the drumming. It can wait until you feel better and have some free time.
MISA MISA MISA!!!!! "Push the Envelope Like a Fierce Tiger" when I watched the prem it had subs (I'm in Australia)
Great, real reaction, as usual, Wave! Hope you feel better. Seeya in Mpls!
I'm coming up to Minneapolis Sunday. I hope they play it too.
If i didn't know Bandmaid,i'd get myself completely spelled at first second
EDGY! Big hit on THEIR hands .
This one another reason why kanami shows she is a GENIUS

This song, in all its structure and composition, reminded me a lot of "Unfair Game", from their "YOLO" single.
yes deep dive. specifically Akane's fill just after 3:14. wtf!
