You might like to add a flushing step which is adding distilled water into the radiator and running the car. Then emptying the distilled water from the radiator. This clears out the old anti-freeze in the engine. Your current step only clears out the old anti-freeze in the radiator.
I wouldn't do it.. you will not get all the water out of the engine block and of u add the pre mixed coolant then you will not have the proper mixture..
It's not critical to fill the expansion bottle immediately, The fan will kick in about 15 mins and the system will burp out any air thru filler funnel. After system burps air out I will then fill up expansion bottle yes there is some air in tube that will go back to radiator but after a few driving cycles it will clear itself out.
Best quality tutorial I have seen for the Accord. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Props to you my man, just saved 150 doing it myself 💪🏾
Right on!
great video homes
Thank you!
Great job.
Thank you for dong this.
your welcome
Your knowledge 👍
Never knew had to do all this to change or add coolant in the Honda
Honda asked me for 100 bucks 😂 for this easy sht..
LOL yes
I mean $100 for a coolant flush is actually pretty good. It costs about $25 per gallon for Honda Coolant.

how much distilled water you think is needed to achieve the flushing part?
@@r_x004 The same amount as for the anti-freeze.
bobby great suggestion distill water is very cheap too.

@@easye1311 I didn't think of that. I guess that is why they also sell anti-freeze that is concentrated.
Great video , how much coolant did you need it ?
It was more than 1 gallon but less than 2 as i recall.
While running was you meant to fill expansion bottle to avoid sucking air and how long before your fan kicked in

Do you have to squeeze the tube to "burp" the car for air bubbles?
Its not necessary just recheck your reservoir levels after a test run.
When I need to change coolant ,my Honda accord run almost 72k mileage
At least every 30k, as the properties of the fluid break down and particles floating before the max change period of 50k or 5 years.
You left the most important part was to make sure take the Air out. Honda highly requires that. It can mess up the cooling system:
What do you mean by take the air out?
Explain
Watch closely, he did run it to get the air out. 😅
How long for the fan kicks on ?
it all depends on the current ambient temperature... on a hot sunny day it should kick in 15 minutes
