To be honest, even after watching the show it still feels kind of forced in. I mean, they made so much foreshadowing ever since season 1, and then, only five episodes after the first time he loses it he gets his arm back, and it stays there for three seasons. He only has his prosthetic arm in the final two seasons, which feels a bit too late to include at that point. Personally, I think he should've gotten his arm replaced in the middle of the series.
@@Couch_Banana That what I call "not everything convenient is bad" because it was not only "Finn loses his arm and gets it back five episodes later" because getting his arm back was part of his arc and also foreshadowed the literally building character of Fern. People can't just say that Finn losing his arm for introducing Fern was cool but get mad because it grows again.
@@Couch_Banana what? fuck no the arm stages had phenominal writing showing his character devolopment and maturity one of the best parts of the show tbh
@@Couch_Banana from what I heard the reason he gets his arm back and then loses it again is because the writers and everyone wanted Finn to lose his arm and it be permanent the first time but the executives said having to change all the merchandise with Finn to show his new arm would be difficult and they wanted the writer's to change it back oh, so it became this back-and-forth where they had to keep pushing when Finn would finally lose his arm permanently
Because there are more. The candy arm, the telekinetic "ghost" kinda thing arm, the time he turned into a flame elemental and grows a new arm only to lose it again when he turn back to normal.
Lets not forget that Finn meditated that one time and saw his future self as an adult with a way crazier robot arm. Didn't he also have a janky candy arm for a while?
And we can’t forget that extremely powerful arm and used it to build a tower while singing “BABY’S BUILDING A TOWER INTO SPACE SPACE’S WHERE HES GONNA FIND HIS DAD”
haha, and as seen in distant lands, he doesn't even bother anymore with the extra arm when he's older. (or maybe he did in between it and the ending, who knows?)
the first time Finn lost his right arm he probably was like "well at least I can't lose my right arm a second time"

It feels like he has lost his arm more than that, what actually is true because he had a lot of arms so everytime he switched to a different arm he lost the previous one
You can really feel the emotional weight of every time Finn loses that part of himself, symbolizing how he’s physically and even emotionally experiencing loss more than once in the exact same place on his body three times.
Very informative, thank you.
He lost 1 white hat then he lost 2 arms at the same side ;-;
The universe really must have something against Finn having an arm
They didn't even include the alternate universe Finn. The time Finn fantasizes about himself as an adult or the Time he goes to the pillow world.
@@Deadwolf27 yeah
@@Deadwolf27 There's also that episode that shows Finn in a past life as a girl with one arm
@@mo-ob4xe oh you're totally right! Can't believe I forgot that, it was such a great episode.
the thing is, yes, canonically the universe does
If I had a nickel for every time Finn lost his arm I'd have three nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened three times, right?
yeah i mean most people lose at most 2
To make it even more weird they were all his right arm
excellent reference
wait i don't remember where is this reference from !! aaaaaa
@@mark_albert It’s from Phineas and Ferb ruclips.net/video/GSnCDMa_ECg/видео.html
Three times over THE ENTIRE SHOW? That's honestly amazing, because seeing it here makes it seem like it's not a big deal

If that's the case, then I still stand by my opinion, but I pity the writers.
I felt like it happened a lot more then that

Do not forget that one of his incarnations, shoko losed her arm 2 times
so, if all incarnations of finn lose their arm, then….
Sorry Shermy, you know what must be done.
Weird, I thought he lost it more times than that.
Counting with shoko it was 5 timss that finn losed a arm
Can't forget about the times it's not shown being removed like Farmworld Finn and the Pillow Dream
Shoko too..
three arms come and three arms go
I feel bad for Finn knowing he's destined to lose an arm no matter what, so he must've had a hard time living his life without his dominate hand.
what about the other 2 in "The Tower"
You have officialy beaten Anakin Skywalker's record. I hope you're proud of yourself.
Tbf tho Anakin only lost it once
And Finn lost it 3 times as much
@@catalyst539anakin lost both hands and uncountable times robotic arms as Vader

I don't even think he noticed it when Golb bit it off. He's made peace that he's a one armed dude now.

There are several dream sequences, alternate dimensions, previous lives etc that show him without the arm. That's probably why
