Corinne is awesome!! How brave she is to have her home built and move away from Missouri to the west coast!! As an older person, I want to have a tiny home but in my state/city/county (MO) they are not allowed. Since my children still live here, I take that into consideration as I don't want to be so far away that they'll have to deal with traveling a long distance to get to me in case of a health issue or my death. But, I would love to get out of Missouri!! Good luck to Corinne and thank you for sharing her wonderful home!
I love the way her tiny home has so many personal items incorporated in her design and that she didn't let the 'norm' for designing tiny homes interfer with her needs and desires. I, too, like pieces of furniture that have memories of ancestors. I love her design!
Corinne your home is beautiful and having things like tiles from your childhood home above your hand basin in the bathroom and other items like your tall cabinet by your front door make your home more homely. I like the cozy seating area as well.
Throughout the construction industry they changed the height of steps to 7-8 inches. This was SUCH a disservice to the general public. I am a short person and we will have to move out of our house because of the steps are slowly making my knees hurt and it has become more and more difficult over the past 20 years. 5-6 inche rise feels great on your knees.
Love the house but especially love Corinne. She's got spunk. Appreciated hearing the stories behind the mural, the backsplash, the knotty pine. The house looks so comfy, warm and inviting!
It seems nice & cozy and fits you well! It's not what others like or want you to have, it's about you and you only! What you want and your comfortable with! You see happy and good about your home. Just love Corinne's home. So cosy, great to see all the art on the walls and her eclectic mix of knickknacks and collections. The art on the cupboard at the back is beautiful, the garden is so pretty..just a lovely, welcoming vibe. Corinne is a gorgeous lady and tiny living obviously gives her joy.
Corinne, you probably already know this, but Jackson County, Missouri - particularly in Brookside - has raised the property taxes so high that many people who've lived there over 30 years are now considering leaving. We have to fight the county every 2 years to try and have their crazy market values decreased. You are so very fortunate to have moved away and live in this wonderful place!
The painting and it’s meaning is absolutely amazing. I love how she incorporated it into her forever home ( to keep her brothers memories with her forever❤️)
I love it. So warm and welcoming. I love tiny houses like this that feature the resident's belongings and special touches. The only thing I confess I would change is - if I could have a flush toilet I would definitely take one over a composting toilet. The front of the house is also inviting with the porch and seating area to enjoy mornings with coffee and sitting in the fresh air.
Loved this home. I loved seeing how she was able to keep sentimental furniture and pieces - and store tons of things. So many ppl make you feel like you must be minimalist to live this way and get rid of tons of things. Maybe not 100 outfits unless you buy and donate/resell often but you can have nicknacks, real couches and arm chairs, a bedroom with an antique night stand with a full sized printer resting on it lol. Some parts of her home really reminded me of my grandparent's single wide trailer as a kid - without this beautiful lumber.
It made my heart smile to see a woman living independently. I didn’t see her with a disability but instead with a home that just speaks of her vision of what it looks like to find her own peace on earth😊❤

Since my children still live here, I take that into consideration as I don't want to be so far away that they'll have to deal with traveling a long distance to get to me in case of a health issue or my death. But, I would love to get out of Missouri!! Good luck to Corinne and thank you for sharing her wonderful home!
I absolutely love her house! It's not cookie cutter, near water, eclectic. Reminds me of my Big Mama
I love it and think you did great. May you have many more great & pleasant years more to enjoy your home & life! God bless you!
She's my kind of lady, I'm 81 yrs. young in a small, not tiny cottage in a coastal community, with family nearby. But if I'd known about these communities, I would have done this, 8 yrs. ago.
This may be my favorite yet! She is awesome.
OMG she is so amazing I agree with her 💯.Use what you have and what makes you happy. This is your home not the builder's. Love and Light always Karen and Miles 🐶
I love it when people with disabilities are featured 😊 it really shows what can be done. She's so cool - and has such a great style
Thank you. I hope she is happily living off grid as she had hoped 🙏🙏💞
I love Isleton. The California Dealta is fantastic. Kudos to being radical!
Hi 👋how’re you doing?
This place is so cozy and cute.. Her deco is spot on to the way I decorate... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s a lovely house and original to the lady. As she said do what suits you.
She was very engaging-I just had to hear what she had to say! Lovely!
Thank you!
I love the fact she stood up to what she wanted and what is dear to her. I love her eclectic style. Bravo 👏!
amazing spirit -- love her story
What an articulate, intelligent interesting woman. She’s so likeable. The best type of American.
I also have mobility issues and would need my tiny house made to fit me. I’m happy for her that she has found a way of living that makes her so happy!
This sweet & comfy home is more realistic and less staged than most.
Great job, Corinne!
What a lovely cosy home! Love that bedroom and low ceilinged lounge space.
I love how homey and cozy it is
Hello Dear
How are you doigng today?
Her home is very warm and welcoming.
Hello 👋 how’re you doing?
She’s created a very cool tiny home! I didn’t know there was a tiny home park in Isleton, and I’ve lived in the Bay Area for 36 years.
That mural will "Not Fade Away!"
😃👍❤🎶🎵🎼
I’m so happy for her.
What an absolute home filled with memories and treasures 🥰
Thank you!
Miss Corinne's home is truly a home. Love it that she made it very personal.
What a lovely woman. Perfect cozy home, and beautiful spot!
I luv tiny houses and hope to have one someday.
Me too.
I love this home! It truly feels like home.No pretentious home fashions and modern digital everything, just a cozy home.
Grandma, you have the best tiny house in the Delta - each corners are alive with sweet memories. God bless you.
love this and the lady living in a tiny home w her disabilities.
I love your cozy home. Everything speaks to your life and personality. It couldn’t be better!
I enjoyed this tiny home tour more than any I've seen. She's a great guide and loves her home.
I love her tiny home. Because it is her HOME not just a tiny house like so many others. It really reflects her personality.
I've debated the toilet issue back and forth. If I don't end up going off-grid, I might well convert.
I love this! Thanks for sharing your tiny house and thoughts about building/living tiny! I'd love to hear more about your story of radical change.
I love how much home she has in her place. Makes me feel safe and warm!
I really love her home. It is so cozy and personal. What a great area to have it too.
The California Delta is an amazing place with amazing people!!!
Some parts of her home really reminded me of my grandparent's single wide trailer as a kid - without this beautiful lumber.
her home feels like a home. I love it for her.
It made my heart smile to see a woman living independently. I didn’t see her with a disability but instead with a home that just speaks of her vision of what it looks like to find her own peace on earth😊❤
She's So Sweet And Adorable.. She Reminds Me Of My Grandma Gage 💕
Such a nice lady and beautiful tiny home. I love all the personal touches, items from her life history, that really makes it a watm comfortable home.
A great lady and cozy beautiful home.
love her story and attitude. she has created such a homey retirement home. this is so much more satisfying than living in a retirement home.
Surrounded by all the things that she loves and are meaningful to her. 🏡 HOME!
Such a lovely, well-spoken woman. Beautiful tiny home.
I love that she's from my city! I know her old neighborhood, Brookside. It's very historic!
A very nice lady. I love her spirit! Her home is so cozy, and I admire her for keeping family heirlooms that are important to her! That's how life should be lived! 💕
