    Helpful hint: transparency film will work straight from the printer to eliminate having to retrace it. Great tutorial...thanks!!

      Thank you for letting us know about the glass. I've never done one of these before. It looks fairly easy. Well depending on the pic that's chosen lol. I'm looking forward to seeing how well this will turn out. I love the idea of using the glass from the picture frame. I'll let you know how it turns out for me 😉 keeping fingers 🤞

      I used a thermal laminator pouch with nothing inside, nice and rigid. For the sake of conservation I used a sharpie then wiped the image away with rubbing alcohol once finished... but I wonder if dry erase markers would project opaque enough to trace...OK gotta go experiment! Byeeee👋

    You can trace it on tracing paper, turn over, apply charcoal or regular pencil to the desired lines, place the tracing paper with the charcoal or pencil against the surface where the design is wanted, keep it there with biodegradable masking tape, and then go over the traced lines with a pencil. The design will be transferred to the surface and is ready for your medium be it paint or permanent marker.

    • @pretzelhunt
      @pretzelhunt 2 года назад +14

      "place the tracing paper with the charcoal or pencil against the surface where the design is wanted" -- that part is difficult if the design size is massive, making a projector better for calibrating

I'm putting a poem I wrote and put into brush lettering on a wall at a local DV shelter... and I've been procrastinating because I couldn't get past this step. Like, how do I get it on the wall??
