Yep, sure am gonna try this out. I was just about to hand draw out bigger versions of my drawings 😑. Now I don't have to!!! 🥳🥳🥳. I'll have to take note of the distance, from box to wall. I'll be painting and doing plaster/joint compound to bas-relief. Hopefully this cuts out hours of work. Chi-miigwech gii!!! (Huge thank you!!!). I subscribed so if you'd like to know how it turned out, give me a shout 🔊.🫶🏻

Great Video 🙌 Love that Stag design. I want to make a 3D model for a friend.
Apparently - if you line or paint the inside of the box Matt Black it gives a sharper image due to less reflective light scatter.

Ooh that’s interesting about it the black, I’ll try that next time. Thanks for sharing.

Haven't tried yet but SO EXCITED to! I need this for lifesaized silhouette cut outs and this is the PERFECT idea to trace these rather than freehand the shapes! Idk of any of that makes sense😅 but thank you!

Didn't work. Is there a size box that's better? How far away is the box from the wall? Thanks!!! I hope you get to try the ceiling fan dragonflies out soon!!! 😊

The best tip I can give is to use the light from a cell phone

I use inkjet printer transparency sheets and print straight onto those and then project to the wall. Saves designing on the computer, then printing off, then tracing, then projecting.

Do I need a pampers box, or will an alternative box suffice? 🙂

Would this work for a small precut wood item. In this case it’s a small wood Santa template used for kids to paint. I’m looking to create a large size Santa on a 4x8 plywood for an outdoor lawn decoration. Any suggestions? Great videos!

You could try or just trace the wood cut out in the plastic ziploc bag, that’s what I would do. Check my Christmas tree cut out video! I used the same method
