Awesome car!! I'm glad to see someone else my age keeping the old muscle cars alive
Matthew Klosowski Never let tradition die! Hell yeah man! Thanks
Your the same as I am guys ✌🏻
Ya same I have a 66 coupe race car and all the guys who own all the old muscle cars are very old to we’re they can’t maintain them and all of there secrets about these cars are going to die with them and will be never known
Greg The Forza Freak it’s our responsibility to save this knowledge
It's a good thing, because with the older generations dying out, us younger folk will be able to afford the classics that went skyrocketed in value due to people buying and selling at Barrett or Mecum. They will be cheaper in the years to come with all the electric car hype. I prefer a gasoline small block V8 two door car. My grandparents passed me down a 1965 Mustang coupe with a 347ci and a factory paint job that includes side scoop stripes, a pincer stripe on the hood, and a secondary colored roof.
I'm a die hard camaro guy myself, I saw you had this mustang and It really inspired me to step into the muscle realm and get out of imports, so I sold my wrx and bought a ratty 1968 camaro. Awesome vids man and nice shifting haha
Boostin 315 Hell Yeah man! That’s the goal of this channel! Thanks dude.
@Boostin 315, Camaro Girl/Grandma now, here! And to be clear, it's not a 'ratty' 1968 Camaro, it's a SLEEPER! Like the one I had long, long ago! Rusted rear wheel wells, but... 500 HP hidden under the stock hood! At idle, that full lift CAM really got the little boys excited...but not for the right reasons! They thought it was a POS, so I played along as the "Stereotypical Dumb Blonde"...until the light turned green! Hey, I was nice enough to pull over at the next light to wait for them! 😉🤣
Ok, and to collect the money! Best wishes with your new machine! Rock on! 🤘🔥😎💨💨
Maggie Rezac ayeeee
@Christicus 101 Mine is 1970 z28
One of the coolest vids you've posted, nice to see your face on the channel ben keep it up🤘🏼
Kyle Simon Much appreciated bro!
I've seen plenty of Mustangs, like many other people but I could never picture myself driving them. But yours. Yours is something else, there's something about it I dunno. I can picture myself driving that. I want it.... please?
Great vid, love what you're doing. Keep it up
Thanks dude! I appreciate it🏁
You drive like Steve McQueen in Bullitt. Awesome video.
David Davis Thanks man! Just need a fastback haha
@@FourSpeedFilms they make conversion kits if you cant afford a real one
Jared I’d personally never do that but the real ones are so expensive
@@FourSpeedFilms if your good at welding and know how to do bodywork. Its really not as bad as it looks. It won't be worth any money like a real one but your car doesn't scream full restoration sunday afternoon at the car show either
Jared Thanks for sharing! My goal for this car is to upgrade the suspension and the motor...for now😂
wow this actually makes me want a mustang! haha awesome car
Steve Thorne Hell Yeah! Get one🤘🏼
Gotta love those tires, look very cool and things are so tight at the front. It really looks like a trans am car from the period. Dad's right about the shift knob! 😎
Great video as always, man! Do me a favor, and NEVER change the way this Mustang looks. With the Shelby scoop and valance, mag wheels and dark green paint, it looks sorta like a GT 350 test mule type thing (in other words, bitchin’). Keep up the good work!
Parker Janelle Thanks man! The only thing I would change is the wheels to real mags.
Ah yes, gotta be authentic. 👌
Parker Janelle Always🏁
You did it the right way and didnt used to much modern parts. Great Video about your Mustang.
StingraY Much appreciated man!
Pure, honest, and brutal is how I would describe your car. Major props for one of the most tasteful "yes, I drive this car everyday" modded classic mustangs I've seen. It's like your car is straight out of the movie Deathproof.
really gettin at it with the shifting at the end... I like it!
Kenny Emberly Thanks man! Stay tuned for more!
I loved it, and we all know he prob babies it off cam, but just like we all know if the cams rollin he lets it rip. Fucking perfect capture of a video. Respect but raw enjoyment of the thrill.
Beautiful wheel tyre combo.
Thanks!
Dude!! Great video! I'm glad you're getting into classic cars and convincing other young people to do so too. That's great!
Dudeeeeee you’re the man! I love seeing people my age keeping the older American classics relevant in today’s car scene, this was great and your driving was superb, NEVER get rid of this car, keep it forever and pass it on. You! Are awesome 👍👍
It’s our duty! Thanks dude🏁
This video is amazing 👌🏼 and that Mustang is fantastic 🔥 the back seat footage was hella dope
This was a cool story and the car has a lot of FAMILY love and memories in the build!
👍⚡⚡
I have an extreme amount of respect for you, knowing that you did all the work. Old school is the way to go. My dream summer project is to find an original Mach 1 and make it look brand spanking new. Love the car and all the work you have done to it. Very nice job!!
Ben gotta say good freakin job man. The passion and appreciation is there! Glad to hear you put hours in with dad learning and loving both the car and your work. Kudos man, that girl sings like a bad girl! Excellent vid
Much appreciated man!!
Love seeing other younger people with old cars! I bought my ‘65 Mercedes when I was 19, it’s not a muscle car but there’s nothing better than cruising a classic
Keep up the good videos man!!
Sweet! Thanks!
Wow that car pulls good nice stang I’m currently building a 65 given to me by my mother this is my fourth one . Been driving mustangs for over twenty yrs your car reminds me of my first 65 four speed that 289 pullls good enjoy nice to see young guys appreciate old school muscle
Jarron Ellis Thanks for sharing!🏁
Too bad they are so expensive, or else more young guys like me would have enjoyed them aswell :(
You can actually get them for pretty cheap!
Four Speed Films find me one then lol, cheapest one in decent shape on Ebay is around $8000, and in my country(Norway) they go for around $29000 for a standard 1965-66 with a V8 and automatic gearbox.
Which is obviously way too much for younger people like me :(
Ben, this is awesome!
Tomorrow is 39th birthday. My first car was 66 mustang coupe. Second car a 66 fastback senior year of high school. I saw your dads 32 at paso and it destroyed me! sold my fastback to buy a 32 body and got it built and running about 13 years. ago. I would go to hot rod reunion and seeing your dads car was like looking at your hero or something. Your dads car is one of my all time favorite 32s! You're mustang has so much attitude! Best looking coupe iv seen! Keep up the good work!
Your wheel and tire combo are on point!!
sparkyguy277 Thanks man! I just want mags
That car is bad ass man!!!! Keep it up!!
Kody Weisbeck Thanks for the support. I appreciate it!

Nice video Bro! Amazing car, and nice spirit of puting your hands on it!
Brother that is one cool car! Glad to see it, and so cool your Dad and you both work on it! The only thing you will EVER regret is IF YOU SELL IT! Trust me @51 and many cars later..miss my first (Black 57 Chevy, 2 door, 283, 4 speed) car the most!!! I am now building a 1968 Mustang Coupe....I want a Trans Am replica/vintage build. Best wishes! GREAT Video.
TJ Green Yeah I don’t plan on selling! Thanks for sharing. The build sounds sick! Happy New Year!
Love your car and your channel. Way to go, kid! You rock👏👏

Melodie Saremi Thanks, I’m glad you liked it😉
Awesome vid man. You can really see the passion.
Love this video and really love the fact your not afraid to drive the hell out of it. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! That’s the only way to do it🤘🏼
I’m 15 and bought a 68 mustang coupe. So happy someone makes modern day videos with these cars and teenagers are getting into them.
Nice car.
My first car as a 15 yr old teenager was a 1965 Mustang with a 289, with a Borg Warner T-10 four speed transmission.
That car was awesome and it was the first of my many (44) muscle car projects to build over the course of my 60 years in this planet.
Keep up the good work.
Nice to see that there are young ones still dedicated to preserving these classic treasures.
Thanks and awesome!
The wait was worth it haha AWESOME!
HASH Thanks bro!🎬
Nice work!! It really means more when you have token it apart and put it back together. Also the black interior was a nice tutch. She really is beautiful man. Hats off to you.
Super cool, love the old tires! Yes I agree I would put different rocker covers on. I may make a similar video to this myself, on my 68 Cougar. Thanks.
I love the music! Reminds me of the dirt every day music. Love it
You made me regret buying a new mustang lol. One day I'll have an old one like yours. Such a cool car man
Thanks man and do it!

One of the best videos on RUclips!

T K O Much appreciated!!!
Awesome video, love that car!
Sweet car man! I love the genuine customization (not bolt on tacky stuff), also the humbleness of the description of all the awesome features. Plus, you are not a douchebag like to many car guys on youtube, good job.
I appreciate it!
Sweet ride! Cheers from Brazil
My first car was a 1966 white mustang with the 289, awesome. Great video.
Man glad I found you again lost you in the mix love your vid,i have one myself want to learn from ya keep going
Love it! I have a 68' with a 289, just had it rebuilt. I have disc brakes up front too, 4 wheel drums aren't to much fun lol. Really badass car.

Good job Ben, I love seeing a young man of your generation being into American Muscle. Keep it up I have enjoyed your videos.
Much appreciated!
Funny I was imagining a what I would do with a classic mustang and literally thought of that car down to the color and style in my head then boom this video popped up. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video! Just picked up a 66 project coupe! Love the old school feel and the driving at the end! Keep it up!
Hell yeah🤘🏼 Thanks!
I often come back to this video just to watch those final clips. Reminds me of younger days.
Lol..ok i was typing before I watched the hole video, sounds great and some pretty good driving there. If you ever sell it believe me you will regret it, especially if it was ur first car, and that's such great memories you and ur dad working on it together. Anyway be careful driving, that thing sounds awesome!

Badass car! Makes me love my 70 302 mustang even more
Yr car hobby will be always be a highlight in your life...like places it will take you, people you'll meet because of being at the dragraces, street races, carshows, autopart stores, having a classic car of any kind but especially mustangs convey to people that you march to the beat of your own drum you're not a conformist just an all-around cool dude & me chicks dig cars nowadays also no matter what choices you make in your life to succeed from here on out your" a car guy" a " Motorhead"you'll always see things through those eyes and it doesn't matter if you're the high school quarterback homecoming King or grow up to be your local news station weatherman order the president of the the good old USA you will always be remembered as that dude who had the cool old mustang...... So props to your father and yourself good choice on a set of wheels that actually will influence who you become as A man.... I swear I'm not lyinghaving a classic car is one of the steps that in my book is one of the requirements of becoming good strong young man...... some of the others are knowing and understanding the gospel and knowing Jesus.. learning how to shoot hunt, fish and how to survive on your own, pursuing and experiencing te and always seek knowledge and theam athletics, having respect & reverence for the ladies and your life mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sisters, girlfriend's,teachers, exct and always seek knowledge and Truth don't be afraid to stand up and voice your opinion........my gosh did I run off base lmao...... Well it's allow truth so I'm leaving have fun with your car young man......yr doing good
Just take the radiator cap off and count the rows of cooling tubes, front to back. I installed Ford Granada disc brakes on my '65. The Granada spindles bolt right in. Only difficulty was one of the tie rod ends. Neither Mustang or Granada part worked. Took dimensions to a Napa store and they fixed me up. Stops much straighter and much less fade. Sold the spindles and drum brake setup to a guy with a 6 cylinder mustang he put in a V8 and five lug rear axle.
Scooter George Interesting👍🏼 Thanks for sharing!
What tie rod ends did you end up going with?
@@historichomestead - Passenger side, Granada. Driver side - see my previous post.
"OmG i cAnT bEliEve yOu dRivE LiKe ThAt!?!?!" loooooooooool like anyone wouldn't get on it like that realistically. Stay safe and keep enjoying it, the same way the past several generations did.
