The green tangerine by goodal is a holygrail and trending skincare here in korea. I’ve used it for more than a year now and never switch. Gave me supple, hydrated and pinkish skin.

I love trentenoin for my skin! I use benzoyl peroxide in the morning and trentenoin at night and it’s really helped me ALOT

Guys if you are having bad acne or hormonal acne go to your dermatologist they will give you a tretinion cream and you will have to out of sunscreen daily and re apply it to 😊

I know this isn’t really that relevant but I HATE when someone says that drunk elephant,bubble,glow recipe or byoma works FOR EVERYONE like not everyone has the same skin for example: I use soap and glory but my friend uses glow recipe. AND EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES but on a serious note I’m not saying that glow recipe or any of them don’t work it’s just you need to find which ones work and ALSO I think some people are just buying popular skincare just to get views on TikTok .. such a waste

@@hayleyquagliano2883 That’s most likely a very small percentage. If it’s isn’t diet(majority of time it is) than it’s most likely environmental or a hygienic thing. Diet is key!

@@jakecrane5100vitamin C won’t do much, but I recommend going to a dermatologist requesting tretinoin & Azelaic acid. I don’t know if you’re allergic or have extreme sensitive skin, but this is what helped me get rid of my tan and it’s worth a mention in your visit.

There are some korean ones that are like 20ish dollars which is still a lot but yk. And there are lots of other serums that work with dark spots that are cheaper and do it the same or better than vitamin c

yes, because vitamin c has antioxidants that help with clearing up and fading discoloration from acne.
its recommended you apply before moisturizer, and in the daytime because those antioxidant properties work in synergy with sunscreen (it does NOT replace sunscreen, however, and spf should never be skipped), in clearing whatever free radicals potentially do make it into the skin past the sunscreen film on your skin.
one big thing though, since you're on accutane, i'm assuming you're currently purging and facing a lot of current acne (unless its healed for the most part and you're almost done and now theres just scarring). Vitamin C can be very bad for acne-prone skin and the skin can be very reactive towards it. stay safe and stick to lower concentrations of 10% or less especially if you're a beginner. that or find a Vitamin C derivative/ester ingredient (these are gentler but have to be converted by the skin biomechanically into the active form of Ascorbic Acid), and i specifically recommend the ingredient Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate since research on it suggests it can help against acne as well.
if you want to know what the vitamin c ingredient is in a product, the ingredient will have "Ascorb" as part of the word/name. (L)-Ascorbic Acid is the active n strongest form
@@standardchances great reply, thanks a lot. U are right, I’m only 1 month in accutaine and still get breakouts, so don’t really wanna make it worse with vitamin c+ don’t wanna clog pores with extra layer of smth.
I’m afraid since skin got really sensitive, vitamin C may even burn it and leave red marks. So I’m probably gonna stay away from it for now and only use a moisturiser. I hope time wil help with my current acne spots. And I won’t be under the sun so they don’t get any darker
Please don't use vit c during accutane(from someone who just got off of it) it makes you sensitive to the sun and makes active acne worse so only use it once ur acne is gone ❤

Hello! That isn’t true. There’s a retinol out there for most people! Mine is prescribed by a dermatologist to help with hormonal acne (also works for a lot of other people with hormonal acne as well). I’m not saying tretinoin is for everyone, but we can certainly consult a professional like a dermatologist to see which is ideal for our skin concerns. Hope this helps :)

@@rabiyaalikhan I beg to differ. Retinol works for a LOT of people, and does not work for FEW people. It's the other way around.. Most retinol/tretinoin work wonders, just need time and patience before seeing results. 😊
@@rabiyaalikhan a lot of people don't know how to correctly apply it. I have skin dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin and tretinoin is doing wonderful things for my skin. I have dry skin and because of this I have deep wrinkles and scarring from eczema and tretinoin has helped me so much! I love love love
