ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVENGERS 5 TITLE AT SDCC.
The new title for Avengers 5 was announced at SDCC, and it is "Avengers Doomsday." The title for "Avengers Secret Wars" remains unchanged. We also got to see the title logos for both movies.
DIRECTORS AND WRITERS OF AVENGERS DOOMSDAY & AVENGERS SECRET WARS.
The Russo Brothers will direct both movies, "Avengers Doomsday" and "Avengers Secret Wars." The writer for both films will be Stephen McFeely, who was the writer for previous Avengers movies, "Avengers Infinity War" and "Avengers Endgame." Additionally, Alan Silvestri, the composer for "Avengers Infinity War" and "Endgame," has teased his return.
TEAM APPEARANCES IN AVENGERS MOVIES.
Kevin Feige has also announced that the teams from "Captain America: New World Order," "The Fantastic Four," and "Thunderbolts" will appear in both Avengers films.
DR. DOOM'S CASTING.
Now let's talk about Dr. Doom. I know you've been waiting to hear about this. Marvel has announced that RDJ (Robert Downey Jr.) will play the role of Dr. Doom. Damn.
REACTIONS TO RDJ'S CASTING.
Some Marvel actors and actresses have reacted to this casting news. Let's take a look. Florence Pugh reacted by saying she hopes to have some scenes with RDJ in "Avengers Doomsday." Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Ruffalo commented on RDJ's Instagram post, as you can see on the screen. Anthony Mackie said, "It would be better if I take him down first. I have the first right to finish him off."
RELEASE DATES FOR AVENGERS DOOMSDAY & AVENGERS SECRET WARS.
"Avengers Doomsday" will be released in May 2026, and "Avengers Secret Wars" will be released in May 2027.
