Based on my recollection, Chase transitions from a disco dj to Hip Hop at the end of 77 into 78. He hits his stride in mid 78 when he starts to get his Emcee crew. Rahiem (F5) and RD Smiley (MLadies) both state the fact that he gets his clientele in 78. From what i saw, this is right around the time, AA and an influx of PRs, join together at (ONLY) the outside jams. At the inside parties, the lighter (hue) PRs were not seen until the 80's. I think Bambaataa was responsible for that. Hercs, Bam, Mario, Flash, L Brothers, AJ, Breakout, Kenny Ken inside parties (73-80) were PREDOMINATLEY AA. Over 95%.

Great video respons to Derrick Colonized. DJ Charlie Chase pronunciation was: One of the first Break Beat record he hearded for the first time was the track Kraftwek - Trans Europe Express. He was like: What is this great sound, I love it. He never hearded any Break Beat records before this record. Kraftwek - Trans Europe Express came out in 1977 and the record was discovered after 1977 by Afrika Bambaataa. He most hearded this record at the end of 1977 or beginning 1978. Indeed truth Facts and not twisted facts.
Another pronunciation by DJ Charlie Chase was: After he heard "Trans Europe Express" by Kraftwek, he saw Grandmaster Flash in 1978 spinning at a party, after seeing and chasing DJ Flash he know he wanded be a DJ. His real name was Carlos Mandes, but changed his name in Charlie Chase because of chasing DJ Flash. Also this is, around the mid/end of 1978
The first DJ he heard playing Break Beats records was a Black American, he must seeing this DJ short before he start seeing DJ Flash.

Several years ago at A City Island restaurant, many of the pioneers met and had a symposium on Hip-Hop and Disco. Included at this meeting were the who's, who in the world of Hip-Hop and Disco. This list included, Pete Dj Jones, Hollywood, Eddie Cheba, Rahiem, Herc, Bam, Flash, Legs, Theodore, The Twins, Rocky Bucano, Mean Gene, Mel and a host of others. I think we need another hip-hop summit, with whomever is left, in the world of hip-hop. This is the only way to solve all of this nonsense that's going on!!! Notice he can't put a Year on it anymore since he Lied about 1975. Erasing my comments and blocking me on your channel while asking for a debate here is absurd to say the least. I asked you for a manageable topic and a premise - you refused. Slight threats.
