I really love the fact that this bike reaches s top speed of around 300km/h and it is not electronically limited as most nakeds.
Henno3000 hm...the wind is not an issue at 300? i ride naked and at max 265 the wind impact is horrible. i wonder how it would be at 30 kmh more. it looks to me impossible. only if superduke has better wind resistance for rider

fidel catsro Depends which 4 cylinder you're talking about, the crossplane 4's sound great, as do the V4's, regular 4 cylinders like the Suzuki, Honda, and Kawi's sound horrible in my opinion. No grumble, just whine.

The top speed is recorded in Greece at E75 highway Athens ~ Lamia..... He is the only guy who has recorded in such a high speed!
And in reality he didn't exceed 268 kph as the gearing wouldn't allow for any further. Tachometer is off by about 10%.
There was another guy about to cross the bridge that links Gaia city and Porto in Portugal who reached 301 km/h on the same machine 2021

To the people who say this is fake, the speed is real and the only reason the speed is low is be cause it's a naked bike, it does not have any protection for the parts like race bikes, this is actually very fast for a naked bike.

I knew a guy who rode around like this... He eventually hit a corner too hard, lost it and ended up under a Tractor Trailer (Which that Driver now gets to live with). Fortunately, the Bike made it into the median and was salvageable.

This acceleration and top speed video is in Greece. The time that the duke reaches 300km it was downhill. But nobody can tell that this bike is powerful. My question is were did you find that video? Is the producer Greek?

Oh, couldn't you just get one just more km to hit 300? Man, this scares me sitting in front of my computer. I've had my 1190 Adventure up to 130mph, or a little faster, once, on a long, deserted straight - about 220 km. I enjoy the power, but not the top end speed, and not in traffic. It's the acceleration up to about 100 mph or so that's thrilling and *fun*. This guy is way past the line that, for me, separates thrill from terror. He either has a high tolerance for terror, or a death wish.

I really don't know about that speed, litre bikes with 190ish hp are only getting about 310km/h.
Regarding the discription, I heard the 2017 model has less power (than 2016) due to new emission regulations.
