I just bought mine and love it because of the ease of use and you can also use the 5x7 magnet if you want on top also. I want the larger magnet hoop but is so so expensive. 5x7 for now with the 6x10 sticky hoop for me.
Thank Sue for your answer to my question about appliqué with Sticky hoop. In fact, I mentionned a video that you mentionned in this video. But I understand it is an old video. Have a good time.
Thank you for this great video. Is it easy to make appliqués with this Sticky hoop ? In fact, I would like to watch your vidéo about The cat appliqué. I cannot find it. Thank you very much
I have actually had the 5x7 for several years. How do you clean the back of the hoop? I used it once and took me over an hour to get sticky off the back of the hoop. Haven't used it since. Also, if you use it with a terry bath towel does it pull the loops on the back of the towel? I'd like to put it back to use but didn't like the clean up...unless I'm doing something wrong,
I just remove what I can from the back. I’m sure you can use products like goo gone but I’m ok with some left. I didn’t have any major problems with pulling loops on the towel. I just did it carefully. Maybe it depends on the type of towel? Thx for watching.
Thank you for this video! I was wondering about this sticky hoop. Hooping is the worst part of embroidery (IMO! 😉), so maybe this would help me? Between the magnetic and sticky hoop, which is best? Or do you think it’s worth getting both? I’m so wishy-washy about making decisions! 😆
Depending on the project. I just tried the sticky hoop and I’d a kitchen towel. Worked like a charm. Just have to deal with removing the paper from the back. Tedious. Lol. Try one. And then see if you like it. I have to say the sticky mat is about $60 for the 6 x 10 hoop. The magnetic one is over $100 for the 5x7. Go with what your budget allows. Thanks for watching. 🤗
I appreciate your quick response but how does ti attach to the machine, does it attach to the monster snap hoop unit I know this is a very simple process but somehow I just dont get it. I understand the concept of the sticky part but once I am ready to embroider how do I attach this to my machine. I have an older Babylock and bought the magnetic hoop love not problem so I thought I'd add this and for the life of me cant seem to figure it out. Again thanks
I did go over it quickly on my latest video. It just slides into the hoop slot like every other hoop. No other hoop is needed to use the sticky hoop. Hope this helps.
I just used mine for the first time. I got the hoop and stabilizer last year. I embroidered a company logo on a microfiber style cloth and it was difficult to get it all of the fabric and also left a lot of the sticky on the frame. Any solution's?
Yeah. Unfortunately it’s not the best for all projects unless you used a sticky wash away stabilizer. As far as the frame maybe goo gone? Or alcohol wipes? Thanks for watching
I haven’t made a quilt yet. But I’ve done wall hangings. Usually stitch them all together at seams. The designs usually come with step by step instructions on assembly into quilts or hangings. Thx for watching.
Thanks again however it cant slide in my hoop area with the monster hoop because the bed of machine is small to handle the side that doesnt connect to the machine. But thanks anyway
Are you sure you have the correct hoop for your embroidery machine. What size hoop does your machine take and what size is the magnetic hoop. What machine do you own? What type of hoop are you trying to use? Be sure to check if you have the correct hoop for your machine...that would probably be the problem...unless I can see what you are talking about, it's very difficult to give an exact answer.
Hi, I was watching both the sticky hoop by dime and also the video with the magetic hoop.and the price points are very different , do you like one more than the other, Im pulling towards the magetic one , any feedback on this Thanks
I seem to be pulling more for the Sticky Hoop...probably because it's less "scary"...I'm always worrired I'd pinch my fingers in the magnetic one....thanks for watching.
@@StitchinWithSue That's what I did but there seems to be some left on the fabric. I'm going to try washing it to see if that makes a difference. Thanks.
I would like to know if it doesnt attach to the machine how do you embroider i bought thinking it was like the snap monster hoop that attached to my machine with the magnets and this doesn't
It does attach to the machine. It just doesn't have the additional need for a hoop to make a "sandwich". I hope I've answered your question. Thanks for watching.

Yes. It is. Appliqué can be done in any hoop. Not sure which cat video you are talking about as this is an old video. . Thx for watching.
I'm new to embroidery. This is the best hoop I have use, also the easiest to use. Surprised me people are not using it.
I love it. Just did 80 napkins for my daughters wedding. Thx for watching.

Oh! And I forgot to add... maybe place your camera above instead of at the side? That way you won’t have to struggle with propping things up. 😊

Someone asked on dime video if you could use your magnetic hoop without top and with sticky back stabilizer. Eileen Roche said yes
Thank you! I appreciate your comment and you watching!

I was wondering what if you are making blocks that need batting like for quilts

I have much to learn
One stitch at a time. Thx for watching
May i ask if you know if the NQ 1700E will applique? Thank you in advance
All machines will appliqué with any digitized appliqué design. Thx for watching.
With an embroidery machine. Forgot to add that. :)
I just bought this. I like to float shirts
Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching.
I would like to see you attach the hoop to the machine.
It just slides in like an ordinary hoop. Nothing really to show. Thx for watching.
Where can I purchase the sticky hoop? If I can access it, the embroidery will be a little more fun.
Through DIME. Thx for watching.

What is the best way to get the stick stabilizer off of your project after using?
Just peel it off. Don’t usually have any problems. Thx for watching.
