Thanks for the great tutorial. Going to try this today, re-learning how to embroider again. Would you consider doing a video tutorial on how to embroider on pre-quilted fabric. I want to make a cover for my machine and am a little hesitant to try this. Thank you again... will definitely subscribe and watch more of your video's.
5/22 Your video showed up in my feed as a suggestion. I’m so pleased. You gave enough information for this newly to feel comfortable with giving towels a try.
Do you worry that the tear away stabilizer will not hold up after multiple washings? When would you consider cutaway? I am so confused about which stabilizer to use on some monogram towel sets.
I absolutely love you. Your tutorial on monogramming . It was so easy to follow and extremely helpful. Can you please come live with me in Vermont (it's not as hot in the summer). You my lifesaver!
I have just come across you video and I thought it was brilliant. The reason I thought it was brilliant was because, you went from beginning to end without missing any stages out which is great so we can follow the full process without wandering how you got there, not like some videos I have seen? Other videos don't always mention what they use, they just get on with the design and they never stay with the design until it has complete stitched out, they always fast forward, which is no good if you are a beginner. Please keep up the good content as I have now subscribed to your channel and look forward to your next video. Hello and thank you from the UK.
I ran out so I used dryer sheet for stabilizer and I used a coffee filter for my tear away it great. Just thought I'd share incase anyone ran out of one or the other.. 😊
that came out so pretty......I think about no AC back in the days UGH! how did I survive I'm not a hot weather lover, I like sweaters and sweats weather
I have the Brother NQ 1600E Can I buy a memory stick just anywhere? Like Walmart or Best Buy? Or should I wait and buy from the sewing machine dealer where I bought my machine?
Can I ask what you think I’m doing wrong. I did the pattern on a thinner towel and it came out perfect. Now I’m getting white coming through on the boarder. The netting was fine but I had to stop and put refill the bobbin thread. Now it’s like the boarder is solely showing the white not the color I was using.
Could be a few things? I usually do process of elimination. You may be having bobbin issues. Have you tried a different bobbin? Are you putting the plastic looking water solvable stabilizer on the top of the towel? Change of needle? Clean out of bobbin area? Maybe accumulation of lint?

Omg. Thank you sew much for your kind words. I’ve never been to Vermont. Maybe a road trip is in my future? :-). You’ve made my day. Thank you!
The package label you showed said cut a way not tear away. Which is why you had difficulty tearing it
Ok. Thx
Beautiful, great job.
Thank you
In the beginning of the video you mention cutaway but at the end you said you use tearaway. What do you recommend for towels?
I really like this monogram! Thanks 😍

Sue passed away last April
Lovely video. What colour thread do you use in the bobbin?
Usually white
Oh, that is so cute…love the pink and white. Congratulations on hitting 4K!!! I can’t imagine, I was so excited when I hit 500 😂.

Best place to buy beautiful towels? Great video!!
I like Kohls
That was cut away stabilizer, which is why it was so difficult to tear. But your towel is beautiful!
Thank you
Lovely! What is brand of clear top plastic part that you put on and where do you get it?
Amazon. Wash away stabilizer. Thx for watching.
That is so pretty thank you for the video
Thank you
Thank you again

Meaghan I know how you feel I'm the same way😁

Thank you so much for making this video. What weight matching bobbin thread did you use?
I forget. Whatever the manual stated. Thx for watching
Thank you.🙂
Why didn’t you use a cut away stabilizer
Love this!!
Thank you
Awesome job I like it
Thank you
Hi, where I can get that beautiful design for towels?
The link is posted in the description. Thank you
Thank you for the video. Where did you buy the design?
??????? Buy what?????
@@StitchinWithSue Sorry Sue where did you buy the design.
Would you wash the towels before embroidery? I enjoyed the video!
I do not. Thanks for watching.
I have the Brother NQ 1600E
Can I buy a memory stick just anywhere? Like Walmart or Best Buy? Or should I wait and buy from the sewing machine dealer where I bought my machine?
You can purchase from anywhere. I don’t buy the brother brand. Too expensive.
Will you do an appliqué alphabet letters with fabric on a towel?
Hmmmm. Not sure what I’d put on it. Would be basically thx same as other appliqués I suppose
@@StitchinWithSue could fabric be layered under the T
@@meaghanlarsen1618 the design is not made for that. I suppose if you knew exactly where to place it you could. If you try it let me know

Was wondering if you normally use more than one sheet of stabilizer..and do you ever tape down the topper?
I usually only use one sheet but rarely two. You can tape it down. Personal choice. Thx for watching
hola, mi consulta es si al pegar la toalla, este pegamento se adhiere a la aguja? o no hay problemas al aplicar ese spray?Gracias
Sorry. English please
@@StitchinWithSue sorry I use translator. My question is does this glue stick to the needle while doing the embroidery or is there no problem. Thanks.
No problems at all for me. Thx for watching.
I'm so sorry I didn't know. My condolences.
Which towels are these?
Can you provide a link to the towel you used?
I don’t really remember. It was either Amazon or Kohls.
With the thick towel. Do you need to use a different needle?
No I don’t usually use different needles with any of my projects. Thx for asking and watching.
When you read the package for your bottom stabilizer, you read cut away....that's why it's so hard to tear.
Thx
Why didn’t you use a topper for this project?
It used the knock down stitches.
very pretty!
Thank you
Do you have a link to share?

What kind of needle are you using
Organ needles
What’s the size of your needle
75/11
That looks like cut away.
