  • Hi, My name is Naomi and I am the creator of a company called 2 And Or 4 (www.2andor4.com). I just embroidered my first bath towel with a monogram. I loved it! This is a beginner friendly project. What I loved about monograming a towel is that it is a project that requires very little "babysitting" which makes it ideal for those of us with single needle machines.
I recommend you practice first on an old towel.
For this project you will need an embroidery machine and hoop, embroidery thread, stabilizer (I used light weight & medium weight tear away AND water soluable topper) , fabric temporary adhesive, scissors, a towel, and the embroidery design of your choice.
The following are some of the items used in this video. I have no affiliations nor do I receive any form of compensation.
My Single Needle Embroidery Machine: Brother PE800 (shop around since the price for this machine can vary widely. Also there are other Brands but this is the brand that was recommended when I first started and I have to say that it is a good, sturdy machine for a beginner.)
    Embroidery Supplies: Allstitch - allstitch.com
Medium Weight Stabilizer (they also have lightweight)
