The behind the scenes fashion show videos are always the best. I love seeing everything from how they choose models to the chaos during the show itself.
✴️ Special respect to such Masters with Golden Hands🙏🏻 Such painstaking work, amazin’ We love Dior and are happy for the new breath of the Great Fashion House. Thank you for the wonderful film story 💜💙🩵💚💛🧡❤️
The most amazing thing is to see the teams making the dresses and outfits. I so wish they would also show the embroideries and other technical workshops…. ❤
I’m grateful for the voice dubbing - as reading a subtitle would disallow visual scrutiny of the fashion creations. A subtitle is a visual distraction from the artist content .
Thank you! LOVE the backstage approach. But it would've been so much nicer, more authentic and less intrusive, without the dubbing over their voices. One last detail...not sure what's AI anymore, but learning to say the designer's name correctly would have been most respectful. EDIT: Sorry, just realized it's a recent post but the film is from 7 years ago.
Interesting doc but please subtitle the conversations next time :). It totally lost the ambiance of a Paris atelier's mise en scène when the dubbing came in.
Yes it’s quite sinful, really. And extremely unnecessary. People are starving, dying, and these couture houses are selling bags for 3,500 and women with too much money and no taste, buying all these useless things they don’t need and that they will use or wear once only. No wonder we have so much climate change and global disasters. And yet all these people in the video speak about it as if it’s a religion and so important and amazing. Yet in fact, it’s shameful and sinful.
It's really sad to see what these couture houses are doing to the price. I feel that the fabrics are cheapened and now made in China. You have to look at what these clothes are made of and where they are made, not the USA. Dior is not the only one that is ripping everybody off with their $45 price of making the bag and charging $3,500 for selling it pitiful. Just remember it's not just Dior. What about the Louis vuittons that isn't even leather! And I could go on and on with all of the other ones too. But let's just leave this as it may, Hope they learn and change things!!!!! Of course this is my opinion! .
She was really good for Valentino, she really be ,,A Valentino. But what she do in Dior is not dior is mix with Valentino vision! look at her Valentino collection of i didn’t know is Dior i totally believed is Valentino. She isn’t the right choose sorry
If I decide to dress up as a witch for Halloween, I'll know where to go to get my costume! (It would be funny, if it were not soooo sad.) Christian Dior must be rolling in his grave to see his name attached to that mess!
And in the back back under the stage there’s a cold concrete room with one, dim lightbulb where the captive immigrants are sewing hastily to keep the mystique alive.
wow let's shame young women under the age of 30 about not being married to pressure them to get married...like come on we already feel bad about not being married you do not need to put a hat on us and parade us around
I love Dior but Dior without John Galliano doesn't draw me as much. There always seems to be something lacking. No disrespect to its present designer but I don't see the 'Dior touch' in her collections.
Why does Meghan Markle NEVER look the part DIOR dresses her in? If one thinks about DIOR’s original gorgeous silhouette, what the hell is going on when Markle walks out in DIOR? No way…..pleazzzzz get rid of her.
@robertsonstevens7122 wrote, "There's something ugly about this" and he was so very right. What was so ugly about the show that's there were no models of color!

The creations are beautiful but seeing the behind the scenes are always inspiring. More details of the making of the garments would be amazing!
I’ve never seen a behind-the-scenes video. It’s mind boggling. Thank you…I felt like I was right there with them.

Dior's 70th anniversary with Maria Grazia Chiuri at the helm? Iconic! This year was pure magic
THANK YOU GREAT DOCUMENTARY ❤❤❤
So incredibly interesting. I loved every minute of this documentary.
Maravilloso video me encantoooooo, que padre trabajar en el taller DIOR un sueño
Incredible evening gowns
I would so much rather hear their natural voices with subtitles. The dubbing is rather annoying. The narration is fine.
I couldn’t agree more.
It doesn't help that they are using AI generated voiceover.
@@busybee404 That makes sense. Do you think the male narrator is AI or just the mostly female dubbing?
@@gonzalogonzalez4220 The male narrator sounds like a human. I think it's just the female dubbing.
I'm thinking the same thing--am not going to watch this after all.
20:58 OMG her shoulder blades
Love dior during marc bohan, gian Franco ferre n John galliano era ❤❤❤
Thank you
Everything is so completely over the top.
MGC’s Dior is admittedly hit or miss.
This particular moment however remains exquisite.
Awesome 👍👍💯💯💯
Thank you so much for presenting this beautiful insight into the Dior family and World……….Beautiful 🙌🏻👏🏻💞💕

It's an amazing working as whole team together to make the best out of it love it
Can you re release with just English subtitles no dubbing please 🥺
The money and talent to pull this off
Interesting doc but please subtitle the conversations next time :). It totally lost the ambiance of a Paris atelier's mise en scène when the dubbing came in.
Feeling the backlash. CD at the top of the material world.
how much are the stars paid to show up ?
Glad for dubbing. But a choice would have been great.
Actually NOT THE DESIGNER do the work. THE PEOPLE behind. They are the real deal here.
wait! so haute couture garments can be made by sewing machines as well ? 17:45
❤❤
When was this actually filmed???
Love to H&M ❤❤❤❤
The Japanese collection is stunning
Brand 70 christian Dior . CD dedicated to doing things well.
An ugly artificial garden ? When other natural venues are readily available.
18:40 the model has totally flat chest. This is not normal. The standards of fashion industry are sick.
Sell €57 handbag for €3500...

After all this, would it be possible to see at least 1 pretty girl in a nice dress?
Yes , in Marks &Spencers .
Please, if you have to pronounce a name in a foreign language, find out the correct pronunciation."Chi" in Italian is "kee"
Christian Dior is one of the most felt fashion brands ever.
I thought this was wonderful
There is something ugly about this.

drawings are very different from what I've done in the 80's I find them disastrous don't reflect mature young women or a women

The sewers should sit front row
xXX👍👍👍
The "garden" is just way over the top. Guests are sitting on pillows on the grass. smh

Not for them

Subtitles PULEEZ! a the dubbing ruins the charm and passion!
Do not forget the genocid in Gaza
Don’t dub.
So much work went into making these kinda meh designs. Fashion is dead, its a business now.
Maria Grazia is so boring. The clothes are dull. Bring back Galliano!
Why does Meghan Markle NEVER look the part DIOR dresses her in? If one thinks about DIOR’s original gorgeous silhouette, what the hell is going on when Markle walks out in DIOR? No way…..pleazzzzz get rid of her.
I don’t like her .. she ruined Dior 😢
I watched this to hear French being spoken. So disappointed.
None of this reflects Dior
???
The AI generated voiceover is horrendous. It is so distracting.
Disappointed at show no black models
I have no problem with that
I must say the Japanese are great dressers one of the best in the world
Well done maria grazia and team dior 🌲🌳🌱🍀☘️🌿🍃🌱🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
