Years ago I watched a documentary about Maurizio’s death, it was fascinating to learn about the family mess involved, but I appreciate how this highlights the business aspect of Gucci’s story as well - not just the family drama. While many don’t appreciate how far Gucci has stepped away from its traditional (sexy) roots, the new direction has appealed to millennials world wide, propelling Kering’s earnings to $20.1 billion in 2021, up 35.2% from 2020.

This whole cult of high fashion is sickening. The only special thing about the people involved from the Gucci family to the aspiring models is how deranged they and their cult are. Where does the real world come in? What a disgrace to humanity.

Art. The same could be said of any high volume, high revenue industry. Music, art, sports all of it is steeped in sexism, chauvinism, exploitation and narcissistic behaviour. This is life.

GUCCI is NOT the only Brand in the Fashion Industry with Imitation Products, Knockoffs, Fake Merchandise, ect.
I personally would never buy a knockoff... But obviously many, many, many people do. The Counterfeit Fashion Industry Market is valued at 500+ Billion a Year!

It’s better to cry in a rolls royce then to be happy on a bike. She rather be rich and unhappy then poor and happy. i guess she didn’t understand what life is really about.

Like Bernard Arnault said, "The best quality and the most _'elitist'_ product in the world."
The luxury market is all about elitism. And is one of the most important driving forces pushing society toward high-tech feudalism. You can't have fabulously rich Lords and Ladies without a lot of poor slaves to do all the work and make them shine by comparison.
After all it's all comparative. The poorer the poor the richer the rich.
