I’ve been using Design Space for 5 years but I thoroughly enjoyed this video with reminders and tips that I don’t often use or even remember how to utilize! Thank you very much!!
Some great tips - but on Tip #5 (3:51) dont bother individually selecting each bit in the contour tool simply click on "hide all contours" does the whole job in one single click.
Great video! I have 2 questions. #1- Can you view/change the grid view on an iPad? I can go to settings and change from large grid to no grid but cannot change to a smaller grid. #2- Can you view Image Info on an iPad? My laptop no longer works and I am working off an iPad. Thanks!
Thanks! 😊 Yes, you can do both on an iPad using Cricut Design Space! To change the grid view, use a two-finger pinch to adjust or turn it off in settings. For image info, select an image on your canvas to see details in the edit panel. Hope that helps!
Thank you for the tips. I generally use Design Space on my iPad and feel like I don’t see all the options I can get on my laptop but my laptop (notepad) doesn’t print right. I have to bounce between the two.
Hi Debbie! Using Cricut Design Space on an iPad can feel a little bit limited. For your laptop printing issue, try adjusting settings in Cricut Design Space or reinstalling the software, that might help! Feel free to ask any other questions you might have and happy crafting!✨
Yes, you can combine two projects into one screen in Cricut Design Space! Simply open both projects, copy the elements from one project, and paste them into the other. Adjust as needed, and save your combined project. 😊
my hardest time is trying to do tshirts. i cant figure out why it only gives me options like flat graphic or single layer. it doesnt give me options like it has in other videos ive seen. pattern fill or image is kinda confusing. when i try to upload a image it'll say "whoa thats a large image, this will take a second" then it shows me a different screen. then when i do have the image on the canvas i'll resize to 8.5x11.5 and itll be the right fit. but then the image says image resolution will be poor quality, and i dont know how to make it better quality. i think i've watched about 10 different videos that are 2-4 years old but there have been updates to software in these apps. but i still cant figure it out... this is a bit frustrating. a step by step is awesome but dang, i cant figure it out yet. if someone can help, that would be great.
@@creepersbabydollful Hey there! We know it can be frustrating when things don't work as expected. Have you tried checking the image quality settings in Cricut Design Space? Sometimes, adjusting the resolution or file format can make a big difference. If you're still having trouble, let us know so we can try to help you out! ☺️
For some reason when I add a new material setting (or edit the existing one) DS keeps restoring it to the old setting or will just crash when I want for edit my newly added material. I hoped it was just an iPad glitch, but it does the same thing on my MacBook 😭
Hi! sorry to hear you're having trouble! Design Space can be a bit glitchy with custom material settings. A few things you could try: clearing the cache, ensuring both your iPad and MacBook have the latest version of Design Space, and if the problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Hope this helps! 😊
Thought this was going to be helpful. need more time on each one, not just a minute. Half of these made no sense, I'm not new to cricut, but I thought this was going to answer soon of my questions. Also, none of your replies show.
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll make sure to include more detailed explanations in future videos. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask here. 😊
@DesignBundles I thought it was great and I AM a newbie! I was able to quickly see them all to pick the ones that interested me right now. I don't mind looking up additional info if I need to, but honestly, you showed the options to select on the screen, explained the process, and I feel confident I could do most of these completely from your video! Thanks so much! 😊
I agree that in current times it is commercial rubbish - however the links with the Occult are tenuous at best. Based on the pagan (dont equate pagan with occult) festival Samhain where followers would ward off evil spirits (not invoke them) it was picked up by the Christian church in the late Middle Ages - the 1st November was designated All saints day - the night before was the Eve of the hallowed ones - hence Halloween. All religions have festivals to ward off evil - call them ghosts, the dead or Satan - the origins of Halloween are based in religious observances to ward off evil, not to invite it.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We understand that Halloween content isn’t for everyone. If you don’t enjoy this video, feel free to check out our other videos on different topics on our channel! 😊
