If the dirt wasn’t put there by the factory clean it up you are 100% right I teach that to my HVAC techs all the time 90% of all air conditioning problems are dirt and maintenance related
Do you happen to have a video explaining how to change endmills/bits between cuts? Like starting with a roughing bit on a project and switching to a precise bit to end the project. I know that's probably super basic, but I'm fairly new to CNC and haven't found anyone that really shows how to do this step by step (especially using gSender and the Longmill together). I find your videos helpful as a beginner!
Thank you so much for your comment and Like! Just about every multi bit video I have done shows the change. More recently my V Carve series I use a roughing bit then a V bit. Give them a look if you haven't already and if you are still on the fence, I will Highlite with more detail in the final video of the series. Thank you again!!
I'm in the final adjustment stages of a 48 x 30.. Everything is adjusted as specified, but I still have a problem at either end of the y axes. As the X axis approaches the end of the y's, 2 to 4 inches, it starts making noise or locks up..
Hi Dana. Hey, I know this video is a few months old, but I wanted to ask you how come you did not get the new spring-loaded anti backlash nuts from them?? Thanks.
I did get them. The #longmill ran nearly three years with the old ones so after replacing them they came out with the new ones and I have been so busy I haven't really had the time to make the switch. I will probably put them on the #MK2 and post a video review at some point.
@BuckysCustoms Oh ok, great. Yeah I knew you had to have gotten those lol. They look pretty cool and I'm looking forward to switching them out. I'm waiting to hear when they'll have the one that goes behind the gantry on the 48", thats the one I'd really like to change. They said its suppose to be available at the end of this month, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. 🤞 That would be great if you did a video on those too. 🙂 Thanks for getting back to me.
Thanks Dana, love the videos. You are a leader in the CNC community.
Thank you, Doug! Very kind of you to say!
Saving this for when it'll be my turn! Many thanks once again!
Thank you for making this video. Great help for my mk1. Appreciated.
Happy to do it! Thank you!
3:02 instant shave :O
Ha Ha! I know!

@@BuckysCustoms I will definitely go check those videos out. And thanks for responding!

Thank you for commenting! Not sure on this one. Call Sienci labs and put in a ticket and a tech will call you back.
