Nice video, I love the R8. I have 3 batteries and a dummy battery for inside and it is perfect, looks the same as an R6ii but you save a 1000 bucks! That buys a couple good lenses and your good do go! Just my thoughts.
A friend bought a Fujifilm TX-4 (607 grams with batteries) and it just sits in the shelf. He doesn't shoot with it, because it is too bulky to bring. He wishes he went for the Fujifilm X100V. I am in the same situation with Canon. I sold my old 5D MKIII because at 1.6kg with the 35mm ultrasonic lens, it was too heavy to bring on a walk. Therefore I am looking at the R8 which weighs 461 gram (with battery). With the lens, 461+620= 1081grams, plus the EF adapter.
Its a great camera. Even better if you get the EF adapter and focal reducer. I'm not sold on RF lenses. Sigma Art lenses is where quality is at IMHO. I've liked it for travel as showcased in this playlist ruclips.net/p/PL4Xd2EtMJSMDH0XkETzeRzWejnjtuUey0&si=U8y3e3kpVemE-M2f
I have owned the Canon 50D, 5D MarkIII and now the R8 with the R battery grip. the 5D is a tank and takes awesome pictures in low light. the R8 also takes great pictures in low light, has faster Frames per second. The R8 also takes awesome video. if you don't need the weather proofing, and the duel card slot go with the R6 if not go with the R8 if your a professional sports photographer go with the R6 for the extra fps. other wise R8 has everything that the R6 has. with the R8 and battery grip I can video close to 3hrs of video and take some pictures. I agree if you already know photography and you are in line to make money and you have 2500 and lenses go R6 all day. if you don't have your lenses yet go R8 because you will spend that extra 1k easy. you will need a minimum of a 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8 which will cost you 4k unless you buy used. unless your shooting kids sports then go R7.
ive got an r8 the light weight, smaller body and ergonomics really make it for me
I’m binging every video you answer so many questions thank you so much 😮❤love from Canada

You're not missing the in body stability since it does not have it

I hope the video was helpful. Let me know if there's anything else I can help bring clarity to.
I have the R8 and I say R8 is just overhyped go with R7
Have R6 Mii & R8 as my backup. Sold R8 and getting R7 for my backup.
