"Narcotics Anonymous (NA) describes itself as a "fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem" following the Twelve Steps and the Twelve Traditions developed by Alcoholics Anonymous, and it is the second-largest 12-step organization.
As of May 2010 there were more than 58,000 NA meetings in 131 countries.
Because no attendance records are kept, it is impossible to estimate what percentages of those who come to Narcotics Anonymous remain active in NA over time. The only sure indicator of the program's success in attracting members is the rapid growth in the number of registered Narcotics Anonymous meetings in recent decades and the rapid spread of Narcotics Anonymous outside North America.
In 1978, there were fewer than 200 registered groups in three countries.
In 1983, more than a dozen countries had 2,966 meetings.
In 1993, 60 countries had over 13,000 groups holding over 19,000 meetings.
In 2002, 108 countries had 20,000 groups holding over 30,000 meetings.
In 2005, 116 countries had over 21,500 groups holding over 33,500 weekly meetings.
In 2007, there were over 25,065 groups holding over 43,900 weekly meetings in 127 countries.
In 2012, there were over 62,700 meetings worldwide in over 142 countries" From Wikipedia

Iam about 8 days without heroin i still want to use but after a few of these videos i feel better. iam not going to say i dont want to use, but everyday i dont use i feel better then the day before.

Hello, I am a recovering drugs addict and a recovering Alcoholic and a recovering crime addict, I am a member of A A and a member of NA, I have been clean since 10th,09th,2008,its a challenge staying clean, but I Afto because, there's a lot of suffering addicts in my country Jamaica, and my purpose is to bring NA and AA 12 Step programme of recovery to them, there's no support for addicts here.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Dave P, one day at a time one step at a time, it's not an easy road, but I love the challenges of this challenging battle to maintain my recovery,I can accept myself and others for who they are and there's beauty and piece of mind in doing good to others with out ulteriomotive and I see and hear things differently and I have started to love humans! It's a bit strange getting intimate with people and smiling and laughing and socializing,in the past I only did cocaine, alcohol, crack, cannabis, escort ladies,guns, work, selfish,lie, self- entered, ignorant and stubborn and instant gratification every time, every day, now I live and walk by faith, love, patience, Humility, Hope and the word of God, which is the 12 Steps of NA/AA because it's a God program an inside Job, have a wonderful day
2months clean from opiates . Ask God to remove my withdrawal and he I know he loves me because it's been 2 months and I have never went thru withdrawal except sneezing. Miracle! 22 yrs all the way to herion! Jesus saves

Today is 4/1/21 and I made it to 21 months clean with the help of narcotics anonymous. Who would have thought ? This is the longest I’ve been clean since I was a teenager. I was a broken Wreck in early recovery. Now, because I’ve surrendered to NA, my life has improved drastically. I feel more happy and free Even though I’m only heading into the Fourth Step. I will continue to trust the program, work at it to the best of my ability so as to avoid the darkness and despair of addiction.

Iv had 8month clean so far got my kids back but my addiction side of me is trying to tel me things that are completely wrong and my head is struggling abit so I listen to yous every night and it's mainly at a night I struggle and I was homeless for 3 years maybe longer and now I have a roof over my head I have 2 of my children out of 5 but iv got everything now but I love it I'm happy but it just fill like I'm missing something it's like a empty hole iv got fill but I will say brill share and I do relate to most things uv said

These videos help me. I used to go to NA meetings but being from my smaller town all of our meetings are interconnected and I haven't been able to attend them anymore after I was assaulted by an older male member after the meeting. Wish I could.
