Dear Frank, thank you for my 36 years of continuous sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous! I am but one of the many, many Alcoholic’s lives that you have saved. And for that, myself and my family, are forever grateful. I love you Frank. Sincerely, Terry Enright.
In my humble opinion he, Frank M., is the most gifted communicator in the history of Alcoholics Anonymous! I had the privilege of speaking with him twice on the phone, and he took about 45 minutes with me each time. He really didn't have to do that, but I'll be forever grateful for that, as well as for the thousands of times that the Power of God has ministered to me deeply and effectively through his many talks. I also was grateful to have met him in person once back in 2010 at the Lemont Oaks Group in Chicago. I just celebrated 14 years of happy, joyous, and contented recovery from alcoholism just this last October of 2022. If you're new, it DOES work if you work it! Get a sponsor that seems to have what you want, (on the inside,) and don't leave before the Miracle happens! God Bless you 🙏
I thank you frank for the message. I’ve got 2 days clean and you have given hope. I feel divinely blessed. The day is almost over and with the help of AA I think I’ll be okay today.
Thankyou for the wonderfull share I love listening to other sober members makes me realise I'm in the right place as long as there's wonderfull sharers like you have a wonderful fabulous sober day today and everyday chio brenda
I thought I could do it alone, I thought I could go to a few meetings a week and not be active, not get a sponsor, not have sober support,,,I did NOT succeed. This is my third time back in AA, I am fortunate to have recieved the gift of acceptance, to be accepted back into a place of non-judgement, a place where I feel comfortable being myself my true self. It works if we put in the work and if we try, and we ask for help when we need it, our disease wants us to think we can do it alone. It is the biggest lie we tell ourselves.
I used to attend Frank’s home group when I lived in Chicago and I did some of my best growth during those years. I now live in DC and pass the message of hope to members here.
Central Illinois here, I got sober in Chicago. A man by the name of Jim B. (my sponsor) at the time lead me through the steps over a period of several years. Then I found the Lemont Oaks group and learned how to create an environment in which I could stay sober and enjoy life.
Thank you Mr.Frank GBU ALWAYS & THX 4 BEING YOU !!...I'M SO GLAD THIS VID POPPED UP IN MY FEED & I TOOK THE CHANCE OF HEARING IT I NEEDED IT U MADE ME GO FROM FEELING LK NO ONE & HOPELESS 2 me BURSTING OUT IN LAUGHTER 🤣😂
the guy who 12 stepped him on the phone - amazing job - saves this guys life - tears in my eyes - is it odd or its god - who decided for him to call him
I am new to this, but have listened to about 20 of these and I find the ones that have too many jokes, especially in the middle of an important message I am zoning in on, distract from the intended message, rather than enhance it. Is this what meetings are like? Cracking jokes and raucous laughter throughout?
I have no regrets about paying for RUclips Red, I think that's what premium is called. It's been worth every penny! It includes their music app to if u want it.
I used to have a cassette tape on Sponsorship by Frank Milos. I have searched online and have been unable to find the talk. If anyone is familiar I would love to her it. Thanks
Thanks Frank, you are one of the many people who have had an influential role in my sobriety. You are so right, my sobriety date is 01/10/1976. I’m living in central Illinois now and I have found a dozen or so people that have been sober 30 plus years. More people don’t make it than do. Usually because they won’t do what it takes occasionally there’s the some that can’t do it. Wally B.
Great share but I have to disagree with him on that we shouldn't talk about drinking to the newcomer. The big book talks alot about the physical craving and mental component that alcoholics have concerning alcohol. Identification is important for a step 1 experience.
He didn't say that we don't need to talk to newcomers about drinking he just said that they don't need to know about drinking because they are the authority on it. They need to know about recovery
@Brickellcigars Frank is still alive. He still comes to the Monday night meeting he started years and years ago, The Lemont Oaks. Don't spread misinformation like that.
Bill Wilson warned that AA should NEVER be given over to NON ALCOHOLICS. That is exactly what happened! Why? Because guys like this guy effectively down play the step one qualification! The physical part of this disease is the most important part of the message! That's the glue that keeps the fellowship together.
Believe me he qualifies. He’s not down playing the step one qualification part. He’s focusing on the the step one 2nd part. My first sponsor when I came back into AA on January 10, 1976, had me spend a year on the first step. Because that’s how long it took me to realize my life was more unmanageable sober than it was when I was drinking.
Surrender is weakness acceptance is strength - It is impossible to evet surrender if you accept. The difference between socialism and Spirituality takes a closer look and pray for the wisdom to know the difference before you get caught in Physical babble Promotion rather than attraction!
I appreciate this guy, but the arrogance and utter obsession with the imagined failure of folks who aren't still in AA is ridiculous! We all have our own path. There our other ways to get sober. Was relieved when I learned that. Also..where is all the add money going? To AA? How many traditions does that break? AA is one way, not the only way. God bless you all.

Thoroughly work your steps again. Then seeing the ads wont bother you.
An alcoholic is a person who cannot take one drink and then stop
Try to explain that to someone who isn't alcoholic.
