The new perspective on experience, strength and Hope. There are no bad examples... it's a thinking problem. I have a disease that tells me that I don't have one and doesn't want to have anything to do with the solution

no opinion on outside issues but as almost any speaker does - yes- they have opinions -we all do. Oldtimer talk.

I like some of what he's saying. The undertones and jokes at other people's expense tells me he's not truly taking personal inventory or is hanging with birds of the same feather. "Don't be different, don't dress a certain way, don't blah blah blah".

I have tried to walk that. Sometimes I don't believe that I am the end all problem. 12 steps puts all the blame on me.

Not about blame. About being accountable. Big difference.

I tried this AA way. Problem is that I found out the man that said I will sponsor you was a drug dealer. An addict.

Try and find Big Book Step Study meetings, the people there can bring you to the solution. In open discussion AA meetings my experience is there are a lot of people there that have meeting based sobriety and that wasn’t sufficient for me. I hope you’re hanging in there.

Ok, find a new one. Also, I hope your talking about real drugs. If a man in aa chain smokes nicotine, than I can smoke a bowl of cannabis before bed. I have a feeling he smoked weed? So what! Better than melting your liver and kidneys with booze

Could you or someone speak to the infidelity that goes on in the AA meetings. I have seen it, many AA members speak of it, but most have their head buried in the sand. Or is this an Ohio problem?
