After losing my mother and being her carer for YEARS, I crawled in to a ball, health issues and my special needs children were enough to make me feel different. Driven by self centred fear, month by month I forgot how vital working with others and my daily routine is. REALITY CHECK! Thank you god for AA. Thank you speaker. Sobriety is easier if one doesn’t leave our healing circle. Recovery, unity, service.,🙏🙏🏽
I hope (meaning I should pray) that I don't have to struggle this way because the fear in my mind tells me I am aware this could be my story. Thank you for sharing this deep, beautiful, and honest virtue you have gained.
Exactly my story at 8 years sober I tried to kill myself! So glad I found this you taught me again about strong women in the program. You rock thanks 😀💗
Great experience! So true! Thanks for sharing! PS...It was Abraham that went up to the mountain to sacrifice his son and Jehovah God intervened. But you were close! 😉
How do you think a mind develops the capacity to misperceive everything it doesn't just happen it's not just simple wiring if only illness was that simple there would be a pill that actually worked for everything
@@billiestyles1706 ya sorry I too am alcoholic , been sober 13 days keep trying , considering going to AA I have been relapsing for a couple of years , those that don't bend the knees bend the elbows

Does shouting at a drunk Stop Drinking count
Count for what? Getting sober? No but good for you if you can drink successfully. I just end up in handcuffs or continuing to hurt loved ones. 🙄😊
