I know Alan is probably not looking at this, but he is the man who got through to me last year. I seen him as the main speaker at Clean and Free by the Sea in Ocean Shores Washington. I sat through his speech high and walked out with a desire to stop using. I know that I had to do the work to get and stay clean, but it was Alan's message that really opened my eyes. If by chance Alan ever reads this message, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. My clean date is 3-16-14 and last Wednesday I was able to share 18 months clean.
@@DavidCooper-dm9cz I agree, but the point is he can never unhear this messege. it will reach him when he is ready now. The work was done. Cheers all, just for today.
Grateful for this sharing! I am 3y 4m and a couple of days clean, working the 3rd step and i feel lost, hopeless and without strenght... Just for today i came to listen so maybe tomorrow i believe
When you are at your lowest point and you know you are a empty shell of a person and you can walk in to a room where there are people who will call you friend, that want to help, you have found a very special place. I am grateful to God and NA. Today is day one, again.
@@christynoel343 hey christy noel I guess you probably Irish correct me if I am wrong. How are you doing. Have you got clean time? I am Irish and kind of in a strange place right now just trying to connect with people with experience that have some time
I've listened to this for less than 5 minutes and I'm already getting goose bumps from the amount of support for someone 3 days clean. 😭😭😭 How beautiful. 💜
My name is William I'm a addict question 15 step 2 in the step working guide. I've been a NA member since 2005 , and one day at a time I'm headed towards my first time of having 4 years clean on 3/3/2024 , @@Alan-pz6xp

Wow I fully am speechless I have had goosebumps 10 times through this whole share. I wish I could meet this addict. Loved the passing of the coffee cup 😍

It's the pain that gets us here, how are you doing.i used to pray the same prayer, but now I am grateful that the pain became so great i had to capitulate and follow orders, I became humble enough to change. The pain was in my throat and I hated it, but today it's that that saves me. Keep coming back.

Don't leave 5 minutes before the miracle happens! Relapse was part of my story too. But my HP is Patient and merciful. Keep coming back! You're not alone! Love you guys
You can get clean all you gotta do is take the first step go to treatment God will take all the rest of the steps carrying you through the path of recovery
One day at a time anyone can make it. I'm sick and suffering. I'm so tired of the rat race. I don't feel good these days because I relapsed. I've got about 10 days sober now. The anxiety that I feel is tremendous. I know alcohol isn't the answer. Fear can be deadly. My only release is in going to AA meetings.
Sitting here listening na instead of drinking or using or gambling could of did all that but instead I'm sober 45days clean out of treatment still sober thank goodness at home for myself healthy spiritually physically watching out for myself now I need to get my granddaughter in treatment so she can get her son back I determined to get her there and sigh papers to get her there I have them sitting here waiting for my husband to come help me have the courage to do this for real.,
