In Australia it is rated M, so Nick is right that it is different countries perceive it differently. but it shouldn't be rated R. Also the way taylor looks at nick . i would be doing the same as well

The most conservative people that can be found in Southern California, they make those decisions under anonymity. Some of them don't have children under the age of 18.
I get TZP's sentiment. A lighthearted romcom like RWRB didn't deserve an R rating (atleast in US), unlike some "P13" rated movies out there that are glaringly graphic and deals with heavier themes...
This love story is definitely more convincing than the love story in The Idea of You. It seems they were/are really feeling each other. I was/am convinced that they are both homosexual and in love.
I'm really excited about the sequel but also a bit scared. I really liked Heartstopper 1st season and coudn't stand the 2nd. And as for Love and Anarchy I think the 1st season is one of the best series I've ever watched and the 2nd was a very big disappointment for me. So, let's wait and see. In any case it'll have these two and I'm sure it'll compensate if I don't like the film. And the same with Max and Sophie in Love and Anarchy, just to see them and their fabulous chemistry again, was soothing.
I would also rather see them doing another movie because chemistry like theirs is pretty rare on screen and shouldn't be wasted even though both might get typecast. I would love to see them in something like "The Pairing" instead of RWRB sequel because the movie ended in a very sweet note, got a proper ending. So steering a story from there to move forward for a new movie is gonna be very tricky cause u don't wanna just make a movie for the sake of appeasing fans, otherwise the nuance of the first movie will be ruined. Matthew really should have made RWRB into a 6-8 part series. Then it would have done justice to the book and a sequel might not have needed.

A PG13, definitely. Movies that get G ratings are exceedingly rare these days.

This is a very unsophisticated movie. A romantic fantasy that, for me, would be enjoyed by a 14 to 17 year old audience.
