Their love story is so captivating, passionate, inspirational, hot, steamy, and emotionally connected. Both actors are not only exceptionally talented with super chemistry, but are so hot, gorgeous, and breathtaking!! These traits elevate the movie's appeal. They are such a gem!!! It's not just the movie, it's not just the story, it's not just the actors. It is the conjunction of all this added to the talent of Nick and Taylor who gave us a totally adorable Henry and Alex, where they cared for and knew how to bring to the screen the spirit of Henry and Alex from the book. It was so perfect that it is impossible to imagine another Henry and Alex other than Nick and Taylor
It is fascinating to see how, as time passes, Alex and Henry are becoming not just movie icons, but societal ones as well, and how much they have become both a highlight and a milestone in queer movie making in particular, but romantic movie making in general - with a very particular atmosphere and history developing around them. To be producing a sequel will only enhance the mystique and relativity as the original cast and creators come back for deliver more. Interesting too how delivering Henry has been described by others as well as Mr Galitzine himself as a matter of caretaking a rich and complex character rather than just acting him: really, how often do we get this depth of understanding and interpretation these days? To see both actors so in unison about delivering their characters and moving forward with them is as rare as it is pretty wonderful. The sequel promises to be something pretty special as well.

Nick has actually a vocabulary. Such an odd thing in young guys. But I stopped watching when the interviewer HAD to mention his sexuality. Shame on him.
Yea..that was VERY rude! Nick has played many roles in the LGBTQ vein and has done an amazing job. He's a beautiful soul and I couldn't care less what his own private life entails. When queer actors play straight roles nobody cares. I hope he continues to grace us with his talent and beauty in any role he feels like he wants to play. I am seated🤩

I wasn't sure i wanted to watch this movie, having seen TIOY love story, but i thought the subject matter was handled really well and played beautifully. Acting is difficult especially making a love connection seem authentic and natural, but both actors make viewing easy and pleasant. I hope all these junkets will not make Nick and Taylor jaded because they are both really lovely to watch.
There is a new interview with director Matthew Lopez, which explains the key to the Paris scene was not so much the physicality or even the sexuality, but the eye contact between Alex and Henry throughout for the intimacy and tenderness of the scene. And that is so much the secret of it.
Thank you for pointing out how articulate Nick is! I've been noticing the vocabulary he uses, like "megalomaniacal" and "resonance." Most folks know what such words mean but don't actually USE them in speaking.🤔🤔 So Nick is not only a madly gifted actor & singer (& a whole lot of other things, too), he is smart!
